Anyone have any thoughts or experience as to how seriously to take e liquid expiry dates? I have quite a few bottles that are fast approaching their time and won't get used before their dates. Should I bin them? Or still usable?

The main components of e-liquid – nicotine, PG, and VG all have an established shelf life of about 2 years if stored in the correct conditions.
But on saying that, it’s really up to you to decide whether or not your e-liquid is okay to vape since expiration dates are only an estimation, most e-liquids if stored in the correct conditions will last up to 2 years but some will last as long as 5 years. The only real differences you will notices is the flavour diminishing or they will start tasting stale as certain flavours begin breaking down.

Largely I ignore Use By/Sell By dates on anything vcmazz . . . . and like Gill, let my nose and a taste do the deciding for me.

I ignore it completely, if it smell and tastes good it gets steamed. It's very rare indeed for a juice to go off. One sniff is all you need... I promise you. Vape on. Take care with extra dark liquids (dark tobacco and custards particularly) - they are the most likely to go 'rank' on you.

As a Jock with 13 years supply of Nic-Base in the freezer, when it turns solid and I can no longer get it out of the dammed bottle, then I'll bin it.
Till then, I'll haply keep Tooting.

I would guess that no one knows the answer to this question. Very few of us would have laid in enough supplies to last us for years until the EU started threating us with their daft restrictions.
Come back to me in 8 or 10 years time to find out how long my stuff lasts, but in the meantime, some of it is passed its "use by" dates and they are still A1.

Today I binned about 25 bottles of Flavour Concentrates. All of them had liquids that were either dark to black, with age, or the labels had faded so much that their contents were unreadable.
Many of these I had bought some 4 years ago when I fancied trying different flavours and tastes. However these days I tend to stick to those flavours that I know will refresh me and/or satisfy my daily needs.
I still have a fair collection of Flavours sitting on the shelf and some I may end up using just to see what they taste like, but many will go the same way as today's and as they become unusable, they will end their lives in our local cowp.
Flavours, their contents and/or their labels do appear to be the only part of my e-juice that have "gone off" since I started vaping 6 years ago.
