Anyone have any thoughts or experience as to how seriously to take e liquid expiry dates? I have quite a few bottles that are fast approaching their time and won't get used before their dates. Should I bin them? Or still usable?

Hope I'm in the right place but apologies if this has been answered elsewhere. It would seem that Fasttech sell my favourite 24mg tipple in 30ml bottles. As they are in Hong Kong, is there anything to stop a chap ordering from them when the new EU law comes in, should that person not wish to participate in that law?
Also, does anybody know if their 'Hangda' branding is similar to (or is indeed) Hangsen?

Bit confused as to what Nicotine Base I need to make my 24mg liquid - Dark Star only seem to do 7.2%? How would that translate to a 24mg liquid? 7.2%nic is the same as 72mg/ml nic, just a different way of expressing it. If making 24mg/ml e-liquid from it you would dilute the 72mg/ml nicbase with PG, VG and flavour concentrates. There are online calculators to tell you how much of each to use. If using syringes, it is just a matter of sucking up the correct amount of each and squirting them into a bottle. Ah I see. Many thanks for that and to all for your posts.

Hi all, This here forum has been brilliant before and solved many issues for me, so here goes again. I've read the 'Chemical Guide' and a few other threads but really don't understand. So I have a few questions if anyone can help? 1) I'm getting worried about the new rules next year and I'm wondering if it is possible to make something similar to my favourite tipple (24mg Hangsen Dunhill)? 2) If so, what do I need to buy and where is the best place to get it? 3) If the above is possible, will it still be possible to obtain the materials I need after the ban? 4) If anyone has tried to copy a flavour, how were the results - did you get close did you get to the original? Thanks all.

Hi all, me again, Question for you technical folk, I've been getting on great with my EVODs, but just lately I THOUGHT I'd been having trouble with dud coils. But it was all becoming too much of a coincidence and so today when I tried two coils and they both seemed dud (hard to draw and very little hit), I tried them in a spare EVOD clearo that I remembered buying and ... hey presto! This surprised me because apart from the coil, I didn't think there was anything in a clearo that can go wrong. So any idea what's happening? Ta. I'm not familiar with the Evod but assuming that your coils are OK, I imagine the cause of the tight draw and lack of vapour is down to a problem with lack of airflow. Solved! Thank you very much! A bit of a jab through the air holes with a pin seems to have done the trick. It really is rather good here isn't it?

Well I have now indeed ordered 50 from Fast Tech. But noticed they do a 1.5 ohm version and went for those. Hopefully not a mistake? Not sure about 1.5ohm ones on standard batteries. If your battery doesn't like them, you could pick up a nice battery that would work with them, or a small mod of some sort. If you have placed the order but it's "in progress" it might be worth cancelling/changing the order. Perhaps worth waiting for more thoughts here. Managed to cancel the order and got refunded by gift certificate, which I then used on 1.8 ohm coils so all good. Thanks for the tip off! That's the trouble with being a rookie, I wouldn't have known the 1.5 ohm ones might not work on my batteries. Glad I checked!

Keep the 2.8ohm heads vcmazz - they might come in handy one day and now place a fast tech order for 50 1.8ohm socc heads (see links on this thread) - that's all you have to do! Well I have now indeed ordered 50 from Fast Tech. But noticed they do a 1.5 ohm version and went for those. Hopefully not a mistake?

Thank you very, very much Jane for sending me some 2.2 and 1.8 heads to try. I have a 1.8 on the go now and wow! Such a big difference! I only wish I hadn't wasted money on 4 packs of 2.8s now lol. Still, we live and learn eh? Thanks again to Jane and to all of you for your advice and help. I am finally sorted!

Hello all, Well the EVODs arrived and apart from the first one I tried not working (dud coil), I must say I'm quite encouraged. But they could do with a bit more 'bang', but I think that may be my fault and that I might have made yet ANOTHER error (this trial and error thing is getting expensive). I bought them from vapourised.co.uk and ordered 4 x 5 packs of coils with them. Now the only coils they seem to stock are 2.8ohm but I've now noticed elsewhere that you can buy as low as 1.5ohm. Would this make much of a difference do you think? Using cartomizers I found there was quite a difference between the 2ohm and 3ohm versions, so is 1.5ohms where I need to be with these?

Oh one last question - I am right in thinking that these are more reliable and better quality that the all in one disposable clearomisers, right?

Thanks for your help guys. I'll order a couple of EVODs for now and maybe experiment with your other suggestions as and when funds allow. Just to clarify Andy - are the wicks built into the coil heads? I'm guessing that must be the case?
