Following thebishman excellent thread on Goose Juice "diamond and gold infused custard" concentrate, it raised an interesting question for me - How much would you pay for a concentrate for DIY (one-shot)? I reckon I would pay a tenner top whack (30ml) - although it would depend on the mixing percentage. Apart from the excellent deals on VHM, I think we have all seen that 30ml concentrates are creeping upwards - 8 quid, 8.50, 9 etc. Appreciate it's much cheaper than cigarettes and you can usually make 150ml from 30ml etc - but what is your cut off price? EDIT: Just a couple of other things I've thought of - I guess most of us have been taken in by "the next best thing" (e.g. VTA) or by questionable reviews (Yes, BCL - I'm thinking of you...) or by "wonderful" descriptions such as " Balancing a lightly tart Greek yogurt, fresh mountain blueberries & savory granola, *** is a harmonious blend without equal in the yogurt world. From the subtle sweet tartness of the inhale to the palate-cleansing exhale, get ready for a flavor that's out of this world!" - I wonder is there space on the board for an official concentrate sharing or collective to share costs (or try out more!)?

I've pretty much reached my cut off point at £7.99 for 30ml - as I mix that @ 30% it roughly costs me around £9 ish for 100ml though I tend to wait for a discount code when running low if I remember to check my stock lol I pay £5.35 for 30ml for another of my ADV also mixed @30% which makes the 100ml cost about £6 in both cases my 100ml of eliquid is about half the price of buying it premixed from the vendor. I suspect theres a bit of wiggle room on the more expensive brand of one shots because I do love them and they are still cheaper than buying short fills or ready mades but if they were to go much higher then I would probably start looking at trying to recreate the flavour myself.

£9.99 for 30ml of Red Astaire is the most I go for a one shot and that's only because I like it so much.

Buying blind? The £6-10 kinda price point for 30ml if the profile sounds right up my street.
I haven't tried anything super expensive, but if I knew I liked a juice, I'd happily go to Goose Juice sorta prices for a treat. More than that even, as long as I was making a saving over shortfills.

BrenD - I think that is the absolute point - "buying blind" - which I guess most of us are doing most of the time. You read the profile and the blurb and the "reviews" but guess we are never really sure what will turn up until we mix and try it

You read the profile and the blurb and the "reviews" but guess we are never really sure what will turn up until we mix and try it A gin flavour I mixed and lost that really wasn't vapable a year later aside, I'm yet to buy a one shot that I wouldn't be able to vape, going by descriptions alone. Were it ever to happen, and I'm confident enough in my basic skills to be able to tweak and save almost anything, £10 wouldn't kill me, especially if I managed to find a new home for the rest of the bottle. Above that and I'd feel annoyed. Good job there's so much to try at that sort of price.

£1......
Seriously, if it's good and I know I'll vape it and most importantly enjoy it then for 30mil I'd go to a tenner.

£9.99 is my absolute maximum . . . . on some of the Vampire Vape oneshots, as they're reasonably strong ( even for my tastes! ) and 15-20% gives me a very tasty vape.
But! I only buy them when there's a discount code kicking about so don't actually pay that . . . . £8ish is more my norm, but again I wait for a discount. Infact I don't buy any concentrates that aren't discounted or in Rainbow Vapes case, offer free shipping and a freebie concentrate when you spend over £10/£15 ( plus their prices are on the whole a little more reasonable than some to begin with. )
I didn't buy into the hype surrounding premium ready made and I try not to with concentrates or oneshots.
If only I could be bothered thesedays to mix from scratch as there are so many brilliant recipes about, then I'd save more as I've sufficient individual concentrates to probably keep numerous vapers in eliquid for a good while.
But we won't go there.

I’m only a part time mixer. But like others snow, Perpetua and others I like my flavours to have some punch. With that in mind I always throw 30mls into a 100. So anything between 7 and 10 quid for concentrate is fair value. That said there are a couple of ready mixed juices that I buy in 100 bottles for approx £15.00. These are my go 2s so happy to pay the extra. Full of flavour and I can’t buy them in concentrate form.

TBH all the ones i have used (and like) are between 8-10 quid and i am happy at that but i tend to mix around 15-20% so i can get a good amount of juice from them. I tend to do as others and bulk buy when a sale is on which seems to be most weeks nowadays and i always chuck a new one in the bag as a try me out job. Some you like other maybe not but you do have to try new ones every so often.
