I had a brief conversation today with my vaping friend ( who has never been on a vaping forum, is perfectly content with Ego's and home brew Menthol juice ) it went something along these lines . . .

Friend: Did you enjoy your day?

Me: Yes, absolutely brilliant.

Friend: What did you talk about?

Me: Vaping stuff.

Friend: What did you do all day?

Me: Vaping stuff . . . tested juices, looked at different mods.

Friend: What ALL DAY?

Me: Yep, pretty much . . . fab it was.

My older brother was here earlier chatting with my hubby while I was scrolling through the photos in this thread, not minding his own business as usual and he said "who's that lot having a booze up?" So I explained what it was about, (he smokes and e cigs aren't really known about in this town apart from people who know me) and he said " Oh god, I've heard it all now, people meeting up to puff on them sticks." Needless to say, an argument ensued. If I wasn't so attached to my "stick", I'd shove it right up his ....

the thing was the day just flew by for me in a blink of an eye

i was explaining to my nephew where i'd been and he replied with something similar... but its not about the vaping so much as the vaping being a common interest that brings us all together.

...although there must be something they're putting in the juice as everybody is so friendly and lovely LOL

I get this a lot of friends and family it's not just about the vaping for me it's about being involved in a community that is beyond friendly and helpful and the excitement of seeing the vaping scene grow from strength to strength

It's interesting isn't it peoples reactions to vaping and the ' Community ' thing . . . be they smokers, non smokers or vapers themselves.

To me the Vapefests are no different to any ' hobbyists ' gathering, part and parcel of a lovely package.

The Sunday girly I had with me yesterday, her Dad has been a vaper for 6 months apparently, by the sounds of it he's into tanks and mixing his own juice . . . so she is going to get her Dad to come into the shop to say hello, which I'm looking forward to.

What was lovely, was her Mum and herself ( both non smokers ) are so very proud of him . . . one of her childhood memories of her Dad, is of him having a continual cough and smelling of cigarettes.

Both now things of the past.
