Nic Salt

Hey all
Has anyone tried buying nic or nic salts from the USA and if so  did it arrive.
I like a lot stocked up on 72 nic , think i got 3 or 4L in the freezer but my prob is after 4 years of vaping i could not vape
anymore because of a synus  opp i had to have done. All i get now is a really bad sore throat with free base nic even on 3mg.
What i have found is im fine on nic salt , i tend to not use flavour that much and vape the 20mg shots straight MTL.
I would love to mix up 20mg  with flavour but with the TBD thats a no go.
So if i order some nic salt from the usa will i get it or is it just down to luck if customs pick it up ?.

Pretty much, unless you find a Vendor who is willing to be economical with what the package contains . . . . some will, some won't from past experience as it invalidates any postal insurance they take out apparently. ( Although I have seen people on FB groups say they've received US Nic Salt orders without issue. )

I have only just got round to trying nicotine salt liquid (trend-setter that i am). I got some Element Key lime 20mg- it's really rather pleasant Probably as good as has been raved about.

All these manufactured salt liquids tend to cost more than regular nic. I don't know why. Thinking of trying to mix my own with mentioned link^

Must admit, philvapes, Perpetua & beeper, I don't really understand the Nic salts thing. Can 72mg just be used in the same way as ordinary 72mg Nic?

I'm now down to only mixing liquids at 3-4 mg, so I'm not looking for a stronger hit, but this thread got me wondering if it is worth me giving it a go.

Basically yes beedee . . . . although you may find that as Salts are said in addition to giving a smoother vape, which probably isn't a requirement for you at 3-4mg, that any nicotine content enters the system faster than freebase and so gives a quicker hit.

Not everyone reports of finding this, that appears to be very much an individual thing and probably more noticeable with higher strength mixes maybe. Having tried them, I couldn't be persuaded to ditch my 72mg stash in preference, but curiousity is a powerful thing!

Thanks for the clear explanation Perpetua, I had read stuff on the web and not comprehended the 'faster' rather than 'stronger' - this must make it more like smoking a ciggy hit-wise - which is s good thing for people in the early stages of coming off, but now I've got used to what I get from Freebase, so will probably stick with it. 

I think curiosity is the basis for my shinyitus and concentriatus!

If you did really want to give Nic Salts a try, my suggestion would be to just buy a ' shot ' . . . . . which at the strength you use would be more than adequate for a little trial run.

I found with nic salt i dropped my nic down to 12mg from 20mg which is what i would use with free base MTL.
I would say you still get a throat hit with it because there is 3 types of nic salt and the one i wanted was the smooth for no
throat hit but you can,t get it in the uk as far as i know and nic river in the usa wont ship to the uk.
What i do is steep 10 mil of 72 nic salt with 1mil of FA smooth for a week before i mix up my 60 mill of juice.
Zero throat hit for me and really the only way i can vape now after the opp i had done.

Oh i tryed it the other way round with the FA smooth after i had made the juice but then i get no flavour at all.

I did buy some one shots but its a bit of a con , all the ones i got only had 8 to 9 mil in them. But on the other had it did
show me i could vape nic salt which i can,t vape free base even 3 mg any more.

Driphacks on eBay are doing 10ml Nic Salts for 99p.

(Unless I am getting confused)
