Pretty much as per the title - any thoughts/reviews on the Uwell Crown 2 tank, please? Have seen them going cheap on Ebay and understand, like the Iphone, the Crown is up to Version 96 (or close) Also, does anyone know if there is a bubble glass option for the v.2? Have seen option for the 4 & 5. TIA

crown 2 is a decent tank. compatable with the rafale coils as well. all mine were bought pre tpd so bigger 4ml capacity. my fave is still the crown 1 but both the 1 and 2 coils have changed and are not as good as they used to be.

ghostrider1971 If you are looking for a sub ohm tank, the itank from Vaporesso is as good as it gets. I got one with the Vaporesso Target 200 kit at it’s launch day at Evolution vaping back end of last year. Vaporesso then sent me a Gen 200 kit 3 weeks ago for test and review, again armed with an itank. The devices are good although not 100% issue free, but the itank is a belter. Choice of 3 mesh coils, 0.15, 0.2, 0.4 ohms. I’ve been using the 0.2 which reads 0.18 on both devices at 55w, smooth airflow and great flavour and coils last 2-3 weeks. I’ve left them standing for 2/3 days and they have not leaked a drop of juice. Tank can be completely dismantled for cleaning and fitted with a bubble glass will hold 7/8ml of juice. RTA’s/RDA’s were all I used, never was much of a stock coil sub ohm tank user but this one has changed my mind. Available for around £16 and well worth the money.

100% agree. The tank of the year for me. I have 2 and absolutely love! ghostrider1971 If you are looking for a sub ohm tank, the itank from Vaporesso is as good as it gets. 5ml as standard once you take the plastic out which is one of the best ideas Vaporesso have come up with. I have staff that have only used RTA's solely for 8 years now only using the iTank. striker42 - Thank you for the rec - cheeky little order placed - about £17 (post free) with the 8ml extension

Hello gents!
Proving the point that some things never change and reading your glowing reviews on the Vaporesso Itank, totally seduced I succumbed and purchased one along with a pack of coils for what I thought was a good price - under £25 delivered, received the next day.
I was going to get a bubble glass or two, but reading that the plastic insert once removed gives a 5ml capacity ( that's ample for me ) swerved that purchase.
All good so far . . . now it goes downhill - how the heck do you get this tank apart to get the plastic out or indeed replace the glass?! I spent an especially tedious hour this morning trawling through the internet trying to find a ' how to ' with zero success.
The only thing I could finally think of is smashing the installed glass, but would I be able to put it back together again or just be left with a pile of useless bits.

Hi Perpetua .... I think THIS might help. [ETA] The video shows stripping down the iTank .... including glass removal. .... hope that helps.

He makes it look sooooooooooooo easy Dave Postmodern Smoking . . . the video is exactly what I was looking for. But try as I might I just can't unscrew the top part sadly, haven't got the grip or strength ( had to use pliers to get the coil out ) so back in the box it will go.
Thank you anyway.

Mine arrived today - I had a similar experience for a bit....but thankfully now OK. I unscrewed the bottom and then held the top part and pulled the glass down hard (very hard...) and then the plastic inside comes off easily. I had trouble screwing the top back on when I took it off - then finally realised it was anti clockwise to put back on. Tank up and running and it is VERY good - nice clouds and very nice flavour. For 15 quid and the glass extension on top it was a bargain. Kind of reminds me of a cheaper version of the Sakerz....which is a good thing

Maybe I'll try unscrewing the top part anti clockwise Andy ghostrider1971 . . . because I can't manage to unscrew the bottom either!
I'm loathe to use it as a 2ml tank, sub ohm - that capacity is a waste of time. Not defeated just yet.
( Ps. Where did you purchase yours from may I ask? )

I going to take the belts n braces approach . . . and try both Dave!
Have also seen on Reddit two other possibilities a) hot water bath . . . b) hammer, which was my first inclination.

Still no luck.
But I did at least manage to unscrew the top lid part which swings over for filling . . . that I also find incredibly difficult to open, but hope once it finally get some eliquid on it, that will get easier.
So my last option is the window cleaner who's due this afternoon, mainly because it's raining as normally happens when he calls.
But! Gareth is a vaper also so . . . the hammer is staying in the cupboard, for now.
