Crikey . . . another blow to the world of vaping as we know/knew it although not a total surprise given the various rules/laws/legislation around the globe.

The tragedy of it all not just for any Vendors and their staff shutting up shop - but vaping as we know saves lives which potentially could have been lost to smoking cigarettes.

It's so very sad and makes no sense to me.

From November 1, 2022, e-cigarette products have been regulated as tobacco products, which means they are subject to the same rules for licensing, production, sales, import/export, and taxation, among others, as traditional tobacco products. All e-cigarettes are subject to an ad valorem tax and exercise strict export standards and control.

The new measures and restrictions mark a considerably more hardline approach toward the industry. Most manufacturers have suspended stock supplying and focusing on the bonded warehouse, others are offering stocks with an unreasonable tax rate. Shipping is also being affected by stricter customs inspection.

In light of these new measures, we're considering options moving forward. Before a path is decided, we're sorry to say that we will be selling inventory only to prevent issues down the line. Non-e-cigarette products are also involved in removal due to technical limitations. We can't batch remove products based on both their stock status and category.

Please be assured that all existing orders will ship within the promised timeframe unless for stock shortage. Our CS will be in contact with you shortly if there is a shortage of stock occurs in your order.

Another sad loss!
China is definitely having a crack down on vaping products within China - my main dealer has had to close his website and WeChat (China's messenging and payment app) because of the restrictions (moved to Telegram though so not totally gone),
The Pandemic has/is costing China a heck of a lot of money - and, as ALL tobacco is State owned - i guess that's where they're looking to reclaim some of the money from. Surprised that this would go beyond the Chinese Mainland - but, maybe the political 'Game is afoot' - and they've made International Trade deals with countries with Huge Tobacco lobbies - just a specualtion. Thailand, Cambodia and i think Vietnam also have State Owned tobacco - so....
If i wanted owt from Fasttech - i had to get it sent to me Ma in Ireland for free, and then she'd send it back to me here (nothing with batteries included) because the Autonomous Trading Zones of HK and Shenzhen can't ship to mainland China - and so it goes!

Another one of my most used vendors is gone!

I must admit I have slowed down my vaping purchases from them in recent years as their prices and delivery charges are not as competitive as they were back in my early days of vaping.

It appears that my Kayfun X attys and a restock of coils and wire will have been my last purchases from Fastech.
