Ok here is one for you to ponder over.
One album, 15 tracks.
Now make up the album of your life. This is something me and a friend did, we listed 15 tracks that were memories for us as poiniet nut good events in our life.
What has your album got on it?

I'm seeing a lot of favourite bands listed in this thread, but what about the original query? I ... wondered if there is something that your listening to that would be thought of as being out of the main stream. Here's some from me: DysrhythmiaMad Capsule MarketsRolo TomassiMelt BananaBleach03

leftfield: I really like the Rip Slyme and Quemists tracks. Never heard of them before. Must check out more stuff. I also quite like the sound of Machine Supremacy and Ratatat. Seeing as you seem to like quite a few songs related to anime, here's a couple I like: Opening theme from The Tatami Galaxy: (It sounds like a fairly middle-of-the-road song initially, but when you're watching the series, and you hear the theme at the start of each episode, by the 3rd or 4th time, you can't resist stomping your foot and humming along. Or that's what I found anyway!) Opening theme from Paranoia Agent: (A weird song to go with a weird series. Again, maybe the only reason I like it is because you hear it at the start of each episode and it grows on you. btw, I recommend the series to anyone who likes this kind of thing.)
