My Riva locks with 3 and the Egos with 5, i think

If it's not working it's probably to do with your timing, keep at it

It's 3 slow measured clicks to lock and unlock on the RIVA as far as I know..The light will flash about 5 times when you are successful either turning it on or off..No need to hurry.

I have a couple of those batteries, and they seem to have a mind of their own tbh

Sometimes they work on three clicks, but then other's take five, so I've just learnt to put up with them being contrary lol

As long as the switch on and off I'm happy

As Karma says, with Riva's lock on off is via 3 clicks, with ego's 5 clicks.
