Hi all.
Im looking to get one but Im not sure what!
My mate got the skycig kit which looks pretty good, so I was going to get one of them. But I thought id do some reasearch first and found many different options and then this forum.
Ive had a read and I think I may now know what I want but need assisance/ confirmation!
Im looking for a refilable one that can be refilled eaisly. So what I have found is this...
Riva 1100 Kit which i was going to get a pick n mix liquid pack with.
I was reading yummys thread and some one mentioned Cartomisers CE2 Clearomisers (XL)
What is the deal with these? are they just refilable cartomisers as opposed to refillable carts with atomisers? any benefit over using these to the other options?
Im pretty skint right now but would rather spend 50-60 quid or so on this rather than buy more backy.
Any guidence or suggestions appriciated.
Thanks
Rich

Hello & welcome Rich Cartomisers are far better & easier to use than atomisers with seperate cartridges. If you are looking at the Riva kit from Vape escape, then ask at check out for the atomisers to be swapped for cartomisers & you will receive 10 of them. Also don't forget to use discount code allabout for 10% off. All cartomisers are refillable & clearomisers are more or less the same as cartomisers, but without any wadding in them.

Hi
Sorry for all the questions but with my reef tank ive learnt its best to buy the right thing first rather than buy twice!!
OK Cartomisers it is then! I already have the code thanks to this site!
So I wont need to get teh Cartomisers CE2 Clearomisers (XL) as well then?
How long do cartomisers last? and which ones are best for replacement?
Thanks
edit. I like the look of the clear/coloured carts any sugesstion on them?

Hi Rich & welcome.. I'm a newbie too & have today purchased the Riva 1100 with cartomisers, after a lot of help & guidance from the guys on here. I also bought the clear (blue tinted) stardusts. I'm sure they'll help you a lot on here as they did me.......Great site.

Heya & welcome. That Riva kit from Vapeescape it a great choice. Cartos versus clearos is a personal choice, cant go wrong with either.

Don't ever worry about asking as many questions as you want Rich No you don't need the clearomisers as well. Jason will replce the atomisers in that kit with either Bofes or Kangers - both are really good. Each one can last anything from a couple of days to a couple of weeks or more, depending on how heavily you vape. The Boges are slightly cheaper to replace @ £5.99 for a pack of 5. I've still not got round to trying them myself, but most folks are loving the Vision Stardusts - www.vapeescape.co.uk/new-vision-ego-v2-rainbow-long-wick~362

Hi all, and thanks for the welcomes! The thing thats confusing me is the resistance of the cartos. I like these www.vapeescape.co.uk/510-echomisers~197 in stainless steel (as thats the Riva im getting) I think they would look pretty good. As the kit comes with 10 cartos, and im getting the 10 flavour pack will I need to get extra cartos now or will the ones that come with it last through a whole 5ml liquid. If I need to get extra cartos now how many will last for a month (im hoping the liquid will last till the end of the month but we shall see!!) I know this is all dependant on how much its used etc. but some idea would be good!

Hi
You should comfortably get 10ml of juice through a carto, some people seem to be able to make them last much longer though. To get the best out of them, never let them dry out or they'll burn and taste yuk.
I like the Ecomisers they hold a fair amount of liquid and they look smart. It states to let them steep overnight when you first fill them, i find they last a lot longer if you do that, then top up again and leave to steep a bit longer. Once the ecomisers are properly filled, just top up occasionally to keep moist. The ecomiser i'm using at the moment is still working perfectly and has had around 30mls of juice through it!

Not heard an awful lot about the echomisers, so can't help with them. I think you would do better to go for the stardusts I linked to You should easily get 5ml through a cartomiser before it starts to wimp. You don't have to stick to the same juice in the same cartomiser. To give us an idea how much juice you will get through, can you tell us how much you currently smoke?

The resistance of cartos affect how hot the coil burns, which inturn will change the flavour of the juice, produce more vapour/throat hit and drain batteries faster.
Start out with the standard resistance ones (SR).

Rich, you shouldn't need any extra Boges as you will get 10 of them (or Kangers) with the kit when you ask at checkout for the atomisers to be swapped.

So those 10 should last a month? Id like to know I have enough to last so I dont have to pay postage to get more in a few weeks!
Thanks azzie, is it higher resistance for a hotter burn?
Cheers for the spikey thing link. I have a lot of pipettes at home some pretty small and have very fine ends so ill use them!
thanks all!
