Yes, the 10 "should" last you a month or even longer, but spares are always useful to have in.

The low resist draw more power and make the coil hotter something to do with the poweroutput. The standard resist ones are cooler burning. Imagine the coil as a lightbulb filament, a thinner (lower resisting) coil burns brighter. I think I got that right, been a long time since I did science at school

Almost..Thinner is higher resistance.. However in most cartomizers the resistance is lowered or boosted by having less (low resistance) or more (standard resistance) heating coils of the same wire rather than by changing diameters.. Just get the SR stuff for now richdude, which will suit a RIVA quite well..You can always explore lower resistance options in due course.

My next door neighbours are still really happy with their Riva 1100's with SR Boge cartos. They are getting at least a weeks use out of each cartomiser.

Welcome richdude. I started out with Skycigs, then moved swiftly onto a VGO from JacVapour and an Ego T with clearomiser, both of which gave me a good start and insight into vaping. About 2 weeks ago I ordered a Provari with a small tank sat on top as I was saving loads not having to buy normal cigs.

Greetings RD. The Riva is a very good device and the Boge standard Resistance cartomizers are excellent although they can be a bit hit and miss with regards to their longevity - I've had some last a week or more and others just a day or so. They are very easy to fill however and are a lot more user-friendly than atomizers + cartridges. Good luck with the vaping. Fox

Hi, noob here,
The riva is a great kit, easy to use and huge battery life. Finding a flavour that suits you is the hardest part! I don't have a fave between cartomisers and stardusts etc, each one offers me something the others don't, so flit between them all throughout the day, but you'll find your way soon enough. I'm still learning, but that's part of the fun.
As for batteries, the 1100s should last a couple of days, but you can charge each night, it won't shorten their life. DO make sure you switch them off after each use though! DO remember to carry spare juice and a spare cartomiser with you, you don't want to get caught short and resort to a CIGGY! Drip tips aren't essential, but are a nice addition to your kit/vaping experience.
Best o luck!
Mrclive.

Great advice from MrClive. Charge your batteries in the evening when you are around but just to be (probably overly) safe don't go to bed and leave them charging
