I'm new here and new to e-cigs, but already loving them I started just over a week ago with a green smoke starter kit... after just 2 days I had no desire to light up an old fashioned ciggy, which after over 20 years of smoking (and with a months supply of tobacco/cigs sitting here) was a huge surprise! I have no complaints about green smoke but I am looking for other options. Mainly because I was going to buy some extra green smoke batteries but then thought why spend £20 per green smoke battery when I could spend that on expanding my options... I like options. Now... right now, I don't have the time to get into researching all the options or setting foot on the road towards mod obsession (I am saving that fetish for when I have more time ). I just want to be able to try out lots of different flavours without being limited to what green smoke offers or faffing around trying to refill their cartomisers. So I am looking for some basic advice on what is available (in UK) and recommended. I want something that is cigarette shaped and sized (more or less). I don't know if I am ready to get into having to deal with a 3 part system... not sure how much more hassle that is than simply using cartomisers. I want to be able to experiment with any flavour, so something that is more or less like green smoke but gives me the option of blank/refillable cartomisers would be good. If it allows for more versatility... like being able to use cartomisers or seperate atomiser and cartridge for future experimentation then even better. I prefer auto to manual... at least at this stage. If anyone has experience with green smoke that would be great... I like the volume of vapor it produces and the flavours (some of them... although none taste bad). I am not sure about a lot of the terms that are used... so someone who knows how green smoke performs may be able to give better recomendations, although I would guess the liquid used has more to do with the experience than the equipment. Sorry for the slightly rambling and unfocused first post lol

Welcome to the forum Takshaka. Congratulations on your achievement so far, vaping has been a huge revelation for most of us ' committed ' smokers. I'd recommend that you do consider buying a device that's a little larger than a cig alike . . . it doesn't have to be huge, but not only will you have an improved battery run time, but the options of what you can screw into it are greatly increased. Manual batteries really don't take much getting used to either, although there is the SDK if you'd really, really prefer an auto and is useful as a little ' out and about '. www.vapeescape.co.uk/search.asp?types=Basic+Vaping+Kits+%3E+SD+KeyRing+EcigOther than that, my suggestion would be these . . . www.vapeescape.co.uk/search.asp?types=Deluxe+Vaping+Kits+%3E+Riva+1100+Kitvapourhut.com/e-cigarette%20kit?product_id=104For Vape Escape use the code allabout for a 10% discount and hut10 for Vapour Hut. Jason at Vape Escape will swap the atomisers out for cartomisers if you ask him . . . all of those options above, you can refill the carto's with ejuice of your choice.

Hi and #welcome2# Tak. I too have a Riva 1100, and also a couple of Ego-T batteries. Both have been great, and have a lot of options for what you can screw on to them Great that you have made the switch to vaping #icon_thumbsup#

Agree with perpy's suggestions, to get the best out of your vaping a good battery is a must. The cig-a-likes are ok for a couple of hours use, but you do need something with longer battery life. The Riva is what most of us started with and some continue to use as they are a brill battery

Hello and #welcome2# from me too The Rivas aren't really that big. I've just hunted one out as I filled a black ecomiser and it just looks stupid on silver mods. It's tiny

Takasha, just to let you know your Greensoke is a KR808D-2 & not compatible with any other model -not even a KR808D-1 However, your cartomisers can be refilled -
