Well that was an interesting weekend!!!

We went to a Jubilee party at our local, I was quite content vaping away while most did the real thing. A few people asked why I was chewing on a marker pen but the winner of stupidity goes to the person that reported me for using a crack pipe, OMG I was embarrassed

I now feel really self conscious about vaping in public. Is there any set up that is more discreet than my ego-w, that still gives a good vape ???

Why do you feel the need to hide what you are doing..You are not doing anything wrong or harming anyone else..

Don't be embarrassed..That's all I can say..If anyone asks, explain cause they are the ones who are ignorant, not you and you shouldn't be embarrassed..

If someone reports you, then they should feel embarrassed at the end of it all anyway for being ignorant...

Don't be embarrassed , you are doing them a favour only they are too ignorant to know it, you are always going to get people acting like that, it's an ideal situation to explain to them all about vaping, if they have a mind to ask and listen that is, is not then just ignore them and vap away.

indeed - given that a crack pipe looks absolutely nothing like an e-cig of any description. It's basically a glass tube with a mesh in it...

I have thought of lots of things I could have said but I was so stunned at the time....... my mind left me standing there with a face resembling a beetroot and a loss of speech, I was unable to string a sentence together

I got asked by 2 lads yesterday who saw me vaping...........'Oi mate....d'ya do weed?'....numpties...... ..........but I was wondering how the land lies regards vaping in a no smoking place........

I used my camouflaged lavatube and a vision out at the village celebrations. Two people asked what it was, no one else took any notice.

I agree with the others Annie, it's not you who should be embarrassed. However, if you really would like to have something smaller for the occasional stealth vaping have a look at the SD keyring - it packs a punch for such a small device -

Chris, legally, e-cigs "should" be ok to use in no smoking places as they don't contravene the smoking ban.

Yeah...I was wondering, actually, whether to get one of the key ring jobbies for outdoor use, but would it be a waste?
