I have now had a migraine for 4 days tramadol are not touching it any advice I can't take ibroprofen not sure about aspirin

get yourself to A&E Queenie 4 days for a migraine isnt good I get Tolefenamic acid on prescription altho these still wouldnt be of use to you as they are also an anti inflammatory so best go get checked out and get something from them they will probably give you a melt

Forgo to add my Tramdol dont touch them either for a while I was an A&E regular lol

The melts take about 30 mins to an hour to work they really are fantastic

MAXALT Melt 10mg you can get them on prescription but usually only after trying everything else :/ but at A&E here anyways they give them rather than getting a doctor in.

Oh queenie I'd go along to A&E if I were you, I'm always there for my migraines

as it is a sunday yes get yourself to A&E. I have got a lot of painkillers here but would not want you to take anything as I would be unsure if you react to them. Feverfew was somethig I used to use for Migrain but it stopped working after a while.

Luckily the migraine has done one for the time being it was touch and go this morning for a while but the walk down to the swimming pool seemed to shift it I just have to shake the migraine hangover now lol. I am at the docs on Wednesday so will ask for something as they are becoming a regular occurrence at the moment

Great to hear your felling better and yes its a good idea to bring it up next appointment the sooner they are treated the better I've had them since I was 8 had so many different meds to help but the tolfenamic acid or clotam rapid is the other name seem to work best for me other than diamorphene injections (which are the royals royce and also give me a good nights sleep). xx

Just want to say that if you suffer from migraine you should not be on the combined pill! My DD suffers migraine and thankfully one GP realised and very quickly changed her pill, only after 3 years
