Got up this morning Mr GJ's bandages hanging off phoned our doc's and spoke to the nurse... His letter from the hospital says dressings not to be changed until Thursday coming when he has an appointment at the hospital... Nurse say's pop in and I'll fix them..Brill !!

Opens drive gates to get my car out and notices something lying on the road under our Landrover... then the huge dent on the rear panel becomes very obvious. ???

Miscalled the council bin lorry for everything thinking they had struck our motor on the way out this morning, but didn't have time to do anything about it as we were on our way to the nurse.

Got back from nurse in time to catch the posty who delivered a letter from the bank telling me they had closed our direct debit account... straight over to bank to sort that out.. a mistake on their part ??? Hurrrumph!

Get's back to the house just going to phone the council and report the bin lorry for hitting our landy... when our next door neighbour informs us that it was an ambulance that hit it at 3am this morning !!! she had seen it.

Phoned the police to report it, told them the story over the phone, they came out and confirmed that the ambulance had been here at 2.54am they had gone to the wrong address and turned in the culdesac hitting our Landy in the process!

The police gave us the name and phone number of the manager at the ambulance depot that we need to speak to, to sort this out...and... lo and behold... he isn't in today Grrrrrrr!

All this and I'm still puffing away on my skycig

Just to say thanks for all the reply's to my rant yesterday.. almost scared to stick my head out of the door this morning lol!

To those who asked after Mr GJ's injury... it's healing well and not nearly as painful as it was

Sandra, according to the Ambulance depot manager.. Ambulances have tracking devices that can tell where they have been..to within 2 metres, don't you know... at all times. Great say's I. That's how the police would have known that your ambulance was within two metres of our bleddy Landy at exactly 2.54am this morning then..Hum haw hum eh! ...well apparently there was two ambulances out here that night, and he needs to work out which one it was. That shouldn't be toooo hard... IT'S THE ONE WITH THE WINE COLOURED DENT IN IT!!! >
