Ah right karma..

Well the holiday was absolutely fabtastic! I would recommend Krakow to anyone, especially to those who prefer sightseeing as opposed to lazing on a beach.

The weather was el scorchio, about 28 degrees during the day & maybe 20 degrees on an evening. Apparently that temp is the norm for Krakow during the summer.

Visited Auschwitz & The Salt mines. Also had a good walk about the center of Krakow as well.

People were friendly & it was a very relaxed atmosphere, especially considering the Euros are on. No sign of any trouble at all.

I didn't take many photos..a/ because my camera batteries gave up on me & I had left the spares on the tour bus. Also, I'm not a big photograph taker to be honest as I prefer to concentrate on the sights as opposed to looking down a camera lens.

I will defo be looking at another holiday there, with the prospect of hopping across to Ukraine.

Sounds great Hissie, I think i may have found it a bit hot for sightseeing though!

Does money still go a long way there? It used to be considered quite a cheap destination? and what was the food like? Oh and did you do any shopping?

Yup it's very cheap & the food I tried was really nice & very fresh.

Obviously the prices had been put up a bit due to the Euros being on, but I'm guessing the prices will go up here when the Olympics are on.

Didn't do any shopping at all lol. Spent too much time sight seeing to be honest. I wasn't there long enough really to do anything else. However, there was plenty of great shops to browse around.

Im just browsing the forum, while waiting for daughter to come home, then off to take her to the coach station as she is off to Turkey for 2 weeks, really going to miss her

Oh and having a vape and drinking a cup of tea
