Testing Juices

I am at the stage where I am wondering what the best way to test lots of different flavours is... it really doesn't make much sense to me to fill a carto with an unknown juice only to find after the first few puffs that they will also be the last few puffs!

I am guessing that dripping will be a popular answer, but I am not entirely sure what I need to do that - it's not something that appeals to me as a regular thing, but for testing flavours it makes sense.

Right now I still only have GreenSmokes... which are not going to be any use for dripping. I have a V1P PCC from JacVapour due to be delivered tomorrow - should have come saturday but so far the postie only seems to want to deliver red cards, I swear the bugger doesn't even try knocking! I have also ordered a Mini Argento and a CE4 clearomiser which hopefully will arrive by the end of the week. But I am wondering what else I need for either of these devices to be able to drip test the hundreds of flavours I am eager to try.

Apart from dripping, are there any other methods people use to try out new juice without wasting cartos?

just a 510 atomiser and a drip tip is all thats really required for testing flavours 3 drops straight on to the gauze in the atty drip tip on and vape. attys are about £5 and you just blow through to empty or rinse, blow excess water out and dry burn a couple of times and they are good to go again.
there are better attys to go for but i have no experience of them.

Another method (or do it as well as above) is to drip neat propylene glycol onto the atomiser and vape that till the flavour has gone, but some flavours, notable menthol/minty ones, may require a dedicated atomiser.

The jacvapour V1P is a KR808-D so a 510 atomiser wont fit without an adapter. A 910 attie should fit but after all the problems Outnumbered has had with her auto VGO from Jacvapour to work with something other than KR808-D cartomisers, I think it would be best just using your Argenta for dripping.

I've just started using Bauway LR 306 atomisers for dripping (using a mini-argento), and I would recommend them over 510 atties (more vapour, better flavour, and easier to clean out when changing flavours). They are £3.99 each at Vapour Hut, which is the best price I'm currently aware of:

Bear in mind you'll need to get a 306 drip tip as well.

I'd recommend a 306 or a 901 for dripping . . . but you'd need a 510 to 901 adapter for that on the Argento, so a 306 would be an easier option as it's 510 threaded . . . just a 306 drip tip required as Kuroto says.


The day of the 901 does seem to be rapidly on the wane.

My Mini Argento arrived today, waaay sooner than expected! So a 306 atty is what I am going to get, that sounds like the perfect solution for me, they are out of stock at vapourhut though so I have to do some shopping around... fortunately, I am enjoying shopping around for vaping kit

What's the difference between the bridged and bridgeless atty's? What are the advantages?

I think I have burnt my first one so need to go shopping again... vape shopping is becoming a fulltime job, do we have personal shoppers around here?

Bridgeless is easier to change flavours..Less stuff to clean and marginally enhanced flavour..

Bridged can hold more juice and harder to clean and change flavours..

So if you are using them for taste testing, bridgeless. If you are a drip vaper, bridged.
