Ego batteries.......

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any idea on the longevity of ego batteries. I have 2 900mah ones, been using them for 1 month solid and I'm sure that one vapes better than the other. Is there a way to test them or open them and clean/replace the battery?

Depends upon the number of charges you give then MMF, anything from 3 - 6 months I get from mine, although I don't use them exclusively.

One of yours may appear to be vaping better, as it's possibly making a better connection than the other is, with whatever you're screwing into it.

The Ego battery as sold, is the battery . . . so you can't replace it, you'll want a Mod of some description if you want to do that.

You can make an adapter and test them under load and if they dip badly, they are on their way out..

They are normally good between 300-500 recharge cycles. The batteries are a custom size and while it's possible to replace it you have to buy the batteries in bulk of 100,000 + units at a time..Nice little business idea there. There must be tens of thousands of these things being chucked in the bins..

You can also mod then with 10440 batteries..

No Frosty, sorry I dont, I just use the bits from them for mods, that is if my order ever turns up from china lol

I never have a clue when my ego batts give up the ghost. I just use them till they've had it & pass them on to modders

I've had a genuine Janty ego 650 for over a year , still works well , however the threads are well worn
