I have been testing a lot of juices lately and I am finding that with a lot of them I am getting a sensation of acrid slightly sweet burning at the top of my throat where the nasal passage meets the throat. Needless to say, this isn't nice! When I get a hit like this I really can't taste any flavour from the juice and can't taste much of anything for a while after.
I am wondering if this is a reaction to a common ingredient or if the juice needs steeping... or if I am just doing something wrong. Some of the juices I am getting this from I have had for 2 weeks or more, so I am thinking steeping is probably not the issue.
I am tasting them by dripping on a Mini Argento, so it's not a burnt cart or anything like that.
There are some juices I can vape constantly without getting this at all, but most are just giving me this horrible sensation.
I really can't figure out what the issue is. Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions for finding the cause?

No, it's 3.7V, not variable.

Juices will taste burnt in a SR carto or atomiser with a 3.7v e cig, so make sure the ato for dripping s LR too.

Just checked and it is an LR Atty... but I am pretty sure that the CE4+ clearo I am using on it is SR and juices don't taste burnt on that (but I have only put juices that didn't taste burnt when dripping in it).

Is it the same atty you are using for them all?

Yes it is, I rinse it under hot water after a few different juices and leave it to dry.

And the same atty doesn't give a burnt taste with all juices? Sorry for all the questions but I am trying to understand a bit more.

That's right... although I have just tested a few juices that have previously been fine and they taste burnt, so I am even more confused now! ???

Well, if you have a spare atty try that...
Could it be some of your juices are thicker than others and not wicking quickly enough...

I don't have a spare atty, I only bought one since dripping doesn't appeal to me for general use, just for testing.
Juice thickness could be relevant since there are some brands which I don't usually get the burning taste with (Koko and Alba especially) and others which nearly always do (Paradise, MisterE). I don't see a major visible difference though, I don't think any of them are high in VG)

Noooooooo lol
I am using a Bauway LR 306 atomiser for dripping. I also have a CE4+ SR which I am using on the same device without getting any burning taste - but I have only used 2 juices in that, and they weren't burnt when I first tested them on the Bauway atty either.

Someone posted a guide on another forum which I followed... from dry, 7 drops 2 short bursts then 2 more drops - but I vary that depending on the bottle, some drops are bigger than others lol. Is that about right or am I way off?
