Found the chart. Yes it should be the other way round, very odd innit?

I had a bit of a brainwave I took the hotspring out of my Mini Argento and replaced the original spring with a battery that isn't fully charged.... that seems to have got rid of the problem although flavour is very muted. I don't know the technical reason for this making a difference, but it seems to work. With the flavour so muted though it's far from ideal. I am wondering whether a SR atty with the hotspring will be better than the LR atty without.

I'd be inclined to leave yours to soak in a denture cleaning solution for a couple of hours, rinse it through with some boiling water a couple of times . . . and start again. That's what I do with mine, works a treat as well. Brilliant idea I'm going to try that. Can you use that for cleaning clearos also or is it not good for the plastic parts? (without the boiling water part of course!

The SB hot spring is essentially a LR spring, so it's conducting more power through your battery than the one it comes supplied with, as you've found Takshaka.
I still think you're not keeping the Bauway 306 wet enough as they are quite a thirsty atomiser . . . the only way you'll know if a standard res will work better for you, is to try one I'm afraid.
I wouldn't use the denture bath for clearo's as the wicks could hold onto some of the chemicals and you wouldn't want to be inhaling them.
Flushing through with hot water would be the best I think, although I vape through flavour changes with them & carto's.

I am completely open to the idea that I don't know what I am doing ??? but I am getting this on the first hit with the hot spring when I am 99% sure it must be wet enough but not getting it at all with the standard spring after several hits. I will continue with the trial and error process, it's all part of the fun

Don't know what I'm doing half the time either Takshaka, so you're not alone. But, I do find the Bauways take time to absorb and become permeated with juice before you get a full flavour hit, more so than with a 901 . . . which is a softer vape. You might find when your Bauway has run in a bit, then it's not quite so punchy and will be an easier vape.

I forgot to come back and update this thread I got an SR atty and that has fixed the problem, no more burnt juice . I haven't tried the LR one again since... maybe I will go back to test it sometime, but for now I am happy to be able to test my juices... I can't imagine why people would want to drip all the time though, it really is a lot of hassle!

Glad your sorted and can taste your juices, so to tie everything up nicely for people, can you clear a few things up for us, with your SR 306 atty, what now have you got it on? And if its your Argento, did you put the hot spring back in or leave it out?

Yes, it's on my Mini Argento with the hot spring in. The flavours are not as strong as I would like, but at least they don't all taste of burning sugary mucus ... a definite improvement in case that needs pointing out lol. The SR306 is a Joye, I couldn't find any Bauway SR306s. Interestingly I have also tried a LR Vision Ego on the Argento which does not taste burnt... so I am still not entirely sure if the problem is with LR. I still haven't found the perfect thing to put on the Argento for me... for some reason I still find the vape from my various 808s more satisfying both in terms of flavour and vapour volume per puff, which really doesn't make sense to me ??? I will keep testing different things, but I am finding that a frustrating part of vaping... you have to try a LOT of things and spend a lot of money to find something that really works the way you want it.

That is so true and why I am getting skint I never got on with the 808's they never delivered for me, yet my preffered vape of everything I have is the LR306 yet another example of how different we are. The Joye 306 is a bit wimpy for me and as you say the flavour isn't that brill on it.

I'm seriously thinking about getting a Lavatube or some other VV mod... I have a feeling that something like that is going to be my best bet in the long run for finding exactly what suits me. That still leaves the issue of finding the right thing to put on top of it... but it kind of seems logical to me that with a VV it should be able to make anything work at least passably well.
Spending money on juice doesn't bother me and I don't mind investing in good equipment... it's the cost (time and money!) of trying different attys, cartos and clearos that I am finding most frustrating.

I'd thoroughly recommend an Ego Twist, or a VV mod of some description as well Takshaka. That way you are pretty much guaranteed, that you'll have a satisfying vape.

Get a Ego-twist..You won't be disappointed.. Are you recommending an Ego-Twist over a Lavatube or as a cheaper alternative? Any idea where the best price is right now?

The ego-twist is better than the LT..Size and ability to maintain set voltages.. Of course with the LT battery life is better.. I think mikeusa has the best price but from the US and will take about 10 days to arrive..In the UK it's probably vaperstall.
