Seven different companies at the last count I think.. One of the versions is longer with a thinner center post. One version has a whistle tip. As of yesterday wikipedia issued a special ego vision stardust, CE4, CE4+, V2, V3.. etc etc., version book: Reports are it's already outdated..

Thought so , i took one apart earler expecting wire to be wrapped round the wick but they have changed it , its now down a tube , very similar to a wind proof lighter when it fires up it glows red hot , no wonder they crackle .

I haven't gotten into the Visions I'm afraid Andy, so can't be much help to you on these. I'm more old school CE2 Clearo's, tanked, which work perfectly for me. A lot of the other guys love the Visions though, so I'm sure will give you their thoughts. Once they've recovered from the footie result.

That's really interesting Andy Hmmm, feel cheated though as the one vision ego I've tried so far, didn't crackle a all

Well , The new ones that can be taken apart have a lot of grunt and loads and i mean loads of vapour , but are put together very cheaply , That bad when its fitted to my mod it looks like the leaning tower of pizza .

You must have a dodgy one andy, I have 5 here and they all sit perfectly straight ??? I rewicked/coiled them to 2ohms only when the original wicks were gunged up and they all perform great.

Thanks for the piccy..
Looks like the same arrangement as the vivi nova v1 with an extra wick just laid on top..
If you remove the top wick and discard it and remove the silicone insert and center pin from underneath the head it will be the exact same arrangement as the others..
Not sure what this tube that you are referring to is but might be a wicking tube like that found in cartos which you may or may not be able to use, but it's not really needed..

The latest ones have a heat resistant sleeve that the coil sits in, designed to prevent the trailing wire from making contact with the attie wall.
