Have noticed a lot of peeps spend their savings from not smoking on shiney shineys.Just wondering if you have got something to save for when you have reached your pinacle? I am saving for a mini facelift and as i find it easy to resist all the new stuff i am half way there.Prob would have had the full amount by now if i could resist clothes and shoes as easily, lol So what will you be striving for in the future?

As Mr GJ's self employed and off work at the mo' due to his fallout with the lawnmower (Ouch!) we are living off savings. Having said that I'm defo not spending as much on vaping as I would have on the nasties, so still count the difference as money saved. When he gets back to work and I get back to my paintings our wish lists are just toooooo long to write about. Mines grows with every shiney and juice mentioned on the forum... patience is defo a virtue...... sigh !

Lol Chris, but what about when you are truly affluent, there must be something you want? Must admit, I'm not really materialistic ( he says, being very protective of his vaping collection ), so I suppose health is top of my list.............oh & a holiday..............

I saved and built the house extension last year but this year I have nearly saved enough to get the back garden finally finished off, I have laid a new lawn and put down type 1 for the patio but need the rest of it landscaped, brick BBQ, kiddies area and the final bit, some slate for the patio. I am nearly there with the money I have saved so far!

No savings for me, work have been messing with my hours. It did enable me to tell them where to stick 4 hours a week that I didn't want to do. I know it's only 4 hours but for what they had me doing it felt like 10, lifes too short. 4 hours a week was £118 before tax and all the rest per calendar month. It also means I can't go back to smoking

Can't save any money, too busy paying stuff off, but when that's done, sometime in the next millenium, i'll put the 30 quid a month towards a new AM Vantage #icon_rofl#

No savings yet from the nasties. Dont know why #attachment# Not sure there ever will be at this rate. However talking to DD tonight she said how pleased she was with me and how calm I was compared to the last time I gave up. So that counts for a lot #icon_thumbsup# #icon_veryhappy#
