Had a painful weekend, Friday i went down to 4 ciggies huge breaks even had a few beers no problem, Saturday went right upto 4pm and then i had a ciggie, basically having some work done in the garden friend left open side gate my lab escaped and had us on tenterhooks for 40 minutes!!! since then it's been very hard, picked up a 26mg silks clearomizer but 26mg makes me feel sick.. thinking my max is going to be 18mg which i have not had any problems with at all.. just wanted to get that off me chest, felt a small failure this weekend by letting it get to me, but it's this place and comments which are keeping me going! back to making up two new clearomizers tonight both 18mg with benson fences and the new vanilla ice cream from pixies, back on the straight and narrow tommorow

(((Ciar))) don't ever feel a failure As we always say in here - just count the cigs you haven't smoked (247 according to your signature at your time of posting) not the ones you do smoke. Now to me, avoiding 247 cigs in only 19 days is an achievement #icon_bravo# Not surprised you where on tenterhooks when your dog escaped. I presume he/she was OK when eventually found?

I completely agree with you, it was when i said i need a ciggie when she went missing, i didnt i could have done it without! weak ;-) she went out the side gate down the main road, which leads onto a very very busy roundabout here in London, luckily one kind woman stopped her car and picked her up out of the road, where as most people kept hooting her luckily for us the woman came back to our road 40 minutes later just as me and my mate arrived and we got her back thankfully...

do appreciate the comments, need to adjust my sig as it's counting total ciggies and it should be those not smoked!!! so it's actually half that amount, but it's a great motivator to keep on keeping on

(((( Ciar )))) . . . so pleased to hear your doggy is safe and sound, such a HUGE worry when they escape. As for the rest, I really wouldn't worry about it . . . more than understandable given the circumstances and it's not a crime to have a few ciggies if they help get you through a crisis.

Yes i had to tell the missus, was so glad it was just she's missing not she you know what I think having done NRT in the past i have this issue with failure lol, i swear they indoctrinate you into thinking like that, where as the vaping way makes so much more sense.

the woman who brought her back was amazing, the local police were not, they said take the dog local to the area you found her and start knocking on doors!!! i mean how crap is that, worst part is she is chipped.

Kudos to the woman who brought her back I've done the same thing with quite a few dogs I've found wandering down the little lane I live down. OK, the lane itself is very quiet, but it leads down to a busy main road.

Ciar don't put so much pressure on yourself... In my experience that only sets you up for a fall. Vaping is vastly different from NRT....... It's much...much more fun relax and just let it happen

ciar, I have always felt a failure when I failed with any other means, a fail was a fail, regardless. You can't fail on this vaping business. You have a cig " oh crap" then you pick up your e cig again, it's so easy to pick it up again.
With the other means of giving up smoking you have 1 cig, then you smoke the other 19 in the pack and giving up seems useless.

So pleased that you got your dog back safe and sound, you must have been frantic! Our local police station is right on the main road through town, I found a dog there, well it found me so i took it to the station. They wouldn't do anything about it. They offered to let me out through their back door so as the dog wouldn't follow me Never mind that the dog could get killed and cause a major accident on the main road I had to take it home and phone the local animal welfare, who eventually found it's owner. Incidently the owner hadn't exactly been looking for the poor animal >
