hi ya well only really started searching the pros and cons of e cigs today,and i must say from what ive read they sound brill ,the only problem being i have no idea where to start,where to buy what to buy whats best, easiest and cheapest but cheapness is less of a priority,im a heavy smoker smoking between 20-30 aday so i need something that is reliable but easy as im slighly blonde haha, any help would be great thanks so much debb x

The Kit karma has linked to above is a great piece of kit and loads of people have dramatically reduced or given up their cigarettes (nasties) completely. They are a doddle to fill and you can see when they need refilling which is as easy as unscrewing the tip and dripping some liquid in out of a bottle of juice, I'm sure even a Blonde could do it (ask Nicky!)

You also have a world of flavours to choose from the only thing I'd advise is to start on a relatively high level of nicotine say 24mg as you smoke over 30 nasties a day, then you can reduce this over time if you wish.

Unfortunately you will not get a flavour that is exactly the same of taste of a nasty, just some that are similar, a good starting flavour is RY4, a sort of smokey caramel.

Any way, just keep asking, we don't mind how trivial a question is, we've all been there!

I was where you are a week ago when I joined but I've received fantastic support, encouragement and help from everyone here. They are a wonderful bunch of people.

When I joined I was smoking 40+ rollies a day but I bought an e-cig lookie likey to try but the batteries ran down to fast for me to get any real benefit out of it (while the batteries were working I didn't smoke a rollie though!)

Within a couple of days I bought the Riva kit that Karma and Chrissie have posted the link to, and its fantastic... bigger than an look a like ciggie but its stylish, cute and the battery lasts all day (and more) its easy to use and I am down to a maximum of 4 rollies a day - all in a week!!!

Oh and the flavours of e-juice are wonderful! I'm using a Raspberry Truffle one atm and its yummy!

How many to buy? - stick with 5ml samples if you can until you find the types of flavours you like. There's a great pik-n-mix at vapeescape. Several threads have attempted to find the average daily juice consumption and it comes out around 3-5ml
