Sorry Debs to confuse you. With the Riva kit you are ordering from Vape Escape, you get 5 cartomisers & a Vision ego clearomiser. It gives you a choice of trying cartomisers & a good clearomiser.

Debb that's a great pic Chrissie has posted. One thing that can catch newbies out - the drip tip is used on the top of the cartomisers - it pushes in. The clearos have their own drip tip and it screws in. Some people have just pushed a clearo drip tip in and then it leaks.

Yes, they do the same job Both heat up the e-liquid to produce the vapour. Some people prefer the taste they get from a clearomiser & some prefer the different draw you get from the cartomisers. Plus the vision ego clearomiser holds a lot more e-liquid so doesn't need topping up/refilling as often as the cartomisers.

Yes, the clearomiser is a newer version with a clear tank so you can see the liquid, it has a heating coil in the metal tube that produces the vapour but does not have any wadding. The cartomisers have a heating coil wrapped in wadding that soaks up the juice which is heated by the coil to produce vapour. However you cannot see how much juice is left in it as it all contained in a metal tube and you have to keep the wadding wet with juice.

Debb, when the kit arrives, you can use it straight away - just need to fill either a cartomiser or the clearomiser. The batteries come with a factory charge, so you can use one of them, while giving the other one a full charge
