So i got home today and the good old postie has been.

Now sitting in front of me I have all the ingredients to attempt to make my first eliquid - yay!

I still find it a little confusing with all the ratios and how much mg nicotine to put but i'm hoping if i just add a few drops here and there then it may end up a vapable liquid!

Runningwolf be careful!! Nicotine is poisonous at high concentrations. Get yourself a proper juice calculator off the web rather than experiment.

You're best off leaving it for at least 48 hours to steep/infuse RW . . . but some flavours are ok(ish) to try immediately.

Although I always leave mine for a week before testing, then tweak if needs be then.

Ok i still find those calcs a little confusing

I want to make a 5ml sample

I have 52mg PG
I have PG
I have VG undiluted
and flavouring

So i'm thinking this is right:

3ml Nicotine
1ml of VG
1ml of vodka
and 1ml flavour

Would that be right, this whole drops thingy is confusing so im trying to stick to whole ml's

What nic level do you want your sample to be?

if you use the tod muller calc it will give you drops for smaller amounts up to 10ml (I think ) then over that it will give you the amount in ml

Well, it would be 6ml, so that's not the best start.

3ml of 52mg Nic in a 5ml mix would be ~31mg level.

Divide the nicotine strength (52) by the size of the final mix (5) and multiply by the amount of nicotine (3).


Or the other way round, the amount of nicotine required can be found by multiplying the strength required (18) by the size of the final mix (5) and dividing by the actual nicotine strength (52). So that's ~1.7ml of 52mg nicotine liquid in a 5ml mix to get 18mg strength liquid.
