80 ml plain PG will bring it down to 20 mg/ml.

Then that would be a nice safe level i'm guessing. So if i made 10ml liquid and wanted 70pg/30vg Then i would 7ml of the pg and 3ml of the vg.

Instead of adding 80ml of plain PG, add 41ml of PG and 39ml of VG, this will give you 130ml of 70/30 pg/vg @ 20mg. Dont forget though, adding flavours will lower the strength

Can you use syringes instead of droppers? Is that a good idea as surely you can get ones that show fine readings eg. 1.4ml or 0.6ml I always use syringes must admit RW for my nic base/VG/PG, I find them more accurate/easier than counting drops, which may or may not be of a standard measure. Although I count drops of flavouring, as it's in much smaller quantities and it's easy enough to add a few drops more if a mix isn't strong enough. Ebay is one of the best places I've found for a selection of syringe sizes.

Runningwolf, it is a bit worrying that after nearly a month since you first posted about you wanting to get into mixing your own juice that it appears that you have missed some of the basics.
The first and the biggest thing to remember that
Nicotine is dangerous in high concentration.
You have had links given to you with mixing calculators from various members of this forum.
Can I suggest that you read all of the links written by people who know so much more than us about mixing, then using one of the established calculators produce a recipe like the one Oneday put and then post it back up on here just for a final check over by everyone. That way you will know for certain you have it right.
I also agree that you should dilute your base down to a more manageable level. I would suggest that 36mg strength is a better level, particularly if your wanting to make a 18mg strength final product. that way you will be able to do a quick check that the amount of base is half that of the mixing materials.
Please don't think any of us are having a go at you, but like it has been said before, your enthusiasm is leading you and not safety, as the caring forum that we are we would never want to see someone hurt themselves.

I was pretty much in doze mode when I came across this thread, my heart is pumping and I'm wide awake! It's great how people care on here, but having two young boys, every bit of my equipment is either locked away, or unreachable, despite the smoking only outside, both my wife and I now try not to smoke in front of the children, and since starting to vape, they haven't seen that yet, I can me a lot more discrete. My eldest did see one of my batteries on charge, again wall mounted and well out of reach, and commented on the flashing LED, to which I thought my charger had broken, I had no idea it stayed red then did a quick micro flash green again I either put on a barrier cream or use some disposable gloves when cleaning or squirting liquid, wipes are on hand, and I have a designated table in the utility / garage area, it is not done in the house. Runningwolf, it's great your on this learning curve, and I totally respect you for having a go and trying to absorb and learn something new..........my fear is that something like this will be fuel for the banning cause, fuel for strict regulation and fuel for making the Vaping community miserable. So many members on here have all joined that learning curve and some have even taking it to commercial levels and now produce some of the worlds most exquisite flavours (with help from some pixies Please take heed and advice of what people are saying, only mix / clean / fill / when the children are in bed, safety first, none of us here wish harm for you or anyone for that matter, especially children. Mistakes can happen, but prevention is key. Once again this forum has amazed me by not tearing someone apart, but by gently warning, teaching and coaxing into doing something that is right, my respect goes out to all of you. As a parent though, and after what I've just read, I'm on the edge of my seat, eyes wide open, thinking "yikes" Also, if there is a particular flavour that isn't commercially available, if you contact any of the E-Liquid vendors, they will be happy to make up a sample if they think it is a commercially viable flavour........it cuts out a lot of risk, and expense. Maybe the members of this board could get a Pinned Topic together featuring the safety and hazards, along with the basics and maths that are required in all of this (unless there is one, which if that is the case I'm sorry for not noticing it) - even as a downloadable PDF guide. Just something so we don't have to read of such a near miss again. Some shops (although few and far between) could do an open evening of mixing demo's? Just a little alarmed, but glad to know those who do know and have the expertise are here willing to guide and help Sorry for waffling, but I have children, and their safety comes first.

Guys, it is almost a month since RW posted this and it was very clearly pointed out at the time the potential disaster that could have occurred . . . I believe he has learnt and moved on from this.
Although your concern is appreciated and serves to remind others who might browse the board.
