Is this juice still in a bottle or in a clearomiser thingy?

am guessing that as you say it tastes burnt, that it is an a clero or something like that. it does sound like you have burnt some and it has gone back down into the rest of the juice. If you clean it out and wash with warm water, then do a dry burn and finaly re fill with your juice, it should taste a lot better. Just remember to let it dry out first

I think some juice deposits around the wick and so can get a bit burned and taint the rest of your juice. I'm not an expert on clearos, I don't really get on with them so I'd probably advise to fill up a cartomiser That said, many people have posted about just giving them a good rinse out and a shake then refill and carry on vaping, may take a few drags to get the flavour back through.

depends on how warm your house is lol. dont put them anywhere hot as they will melt and warp. once you have washed them try to get as much of the water out as you can but swishing it. like a sauce bottle with the lid on to get it to the top. if you put it on to a battery and do a few firings with out the cap on you will see steam building up in the clero, so you know that it is getting water out of the wick. Just keep doing that for a while (short bursts to help the drying but not to burn it yet).

As the wick/coil age in a atomiser/clearomiser/cartomiser a carbon deposit builds up on the coil the juice that is in contact with it gets discoloured but it's harmless. With my visions I get about 3 days vaping before the wick gets dark brown. At this stage I give them a clean and this restores the wicks to a clean state. After I clean it i just shake it and blow it out then re-fill and vape away again. It takes a few puffs for the water to boil off the coil. After about 3 clean outs and/or the vape diminishes it's time for a dry burn to re-invigorate the clearomiser.

Just a quick question that doesn't really warrant a thread of its own, so I may as well squeeze it in here, as I'm sure a lot of other newbies may be unsure as well: when people recommend dry burning - how much exactly are we talking about? Just a quick fizzle? Or one decent (vape-length) blast? Or a much longer blast? Or several long blasts? ???
(Since I mainly direct drip, I haven't had much cause to clean cartos or clearos, but I do use them occasionally, and have attempted cleaning once or twice, but when dry burning, I've erred on the side of caution, as I worry about spoiling the wick - not sure whether that's misguided of me or not.)
