What makes this forum so great for you?

I've only been a member here a short while, but one thing that does stand out to me is the excellent modding. Firm but fair. And friendly. And also fast. (Four "f"s, if you will. )

The help I recieved when I first joined, the support, the knowledge, the unbiased advice when buying stuff, the friendly way the forum conducts itself, the understanding, sharing our common interest and excitement that no one outside this forum shares with me, the 'no questions are stupid' approach that can put newbies off, (we have all been there and there are still loads I am learning here, like most people) ohhh I could go on and on

I am also wondering whether the subject matter of the forum makes a difference to the way people interact. But it's hard for me to judge, as I don't have any in depth knowledge of how people generally behave on other vaping forums (apart from one initial noob query I posted on ECF and a few google searches that have led me to read a few posts on other forums). Can anyone enlighten me on this? Are other vaping forums as friendly, well-modded, petty-squabble-free, etc, as this one? (Obviously, don't reply with details if you have negative things to say and this may cause aggro elsewhere! )

Batty you said it all, I have been here a couple of weeks? roughly all i can say is it's how friendly everyone is, how helpful and how people don't turn around and criticise you for smoking even though most of you quit and now vape full time, on top of this reading the forum is a form of help, i love to read how other members succeeded or are in the same position as me or just starting out, it's great that most of us will eventually stick two fingers up at ciggies and the tobacco companies!

it's also the fact people impart knowledge without having to pay blood for it ;-) and i reckon the other good thing is, you get to interact with people who's business is vaping, to me that's great.

as I said in another post one of the best forums i have ever visited..

I have been with Chrissie and Scyll since before we had to move from eBay.
THEY set up this Forum.

In my mind - they are the reason this place stays so good and friendly.

It is great to have so many lovely, new knowledgible and helpful members 'cos its very hard to keep up with the new products and technology but I remember where the roots are.

Is it the friendliness? +1
Is it the knowledge? When ever you spot the info between the xD images +1
Is it the sharing nature of everyone? +1 Wish your laws in Finland wouldn't limit our 'sharing' in public (can't sell/trade nic liquids)
Is it the mature attitudes? Say again.. what?

Is it the moderators? Well I did promise Gordy I'll buy him 'one' during the Vapefest.. So yes?

Even though there is somewhat loose limits on the 'Creating new thread' part, and sometimes the naming on those are misleading / insufficient.. There is still loooooots and loooooots to browse. And the pace that people chat here is remarkable.

So all in all.. I think this is one of the friendliest forums out there - no matter the genre.
