What do you all think of the higs boson?

He is a scientist who made a scientific theory a long time ago and they have just today found it to be true . the higs boson particle is a particle that brings all matter together, and it can reveal how the universe came to be

Am a bit of a closet geek, so I had heard that this was going to be announced over the weekend. Still a lot more testing to be done to confirm that this is the Higgs, let's hope that whatever comes of this is positive progress. Some of the scientific "advances" these days are frightening, just look what happened after they split the atom...
But this is very exciting news, what I really want to know about is dark matter and this discovery may lead the way

I find it very hard to believe that people believe in god nowadays? saying that though, most people don't going by recent surveys.

i'm a nerd but didn't keep up to date on this. sounds a bit...sort of...like it was expected, really. i think it narrows down the search for a unified theory a little bit. not sure how much tho.
anyway, 'tis a silly particle, really.
