i don't get why he's so scathing to other vapers, or is it only the ones who don't buy all their supplies from him? surely this attitude can't be very good for attracting newbies ???

Very true beeper. It's not just about newbies though. I've bought stuff from TW in the past but after reading that thread and his attitude to the vaping community I won't shop there again

It actually points out why you shouldn't stealth, and perhaps should be prepared to explain what you're doing. It seems to me that the preponderance of looky-likies is an issue here. To the uninitiated, the looky-likey looks like a proper ciggy. Hence the term!! And I also suppose that there are folks who are scared they're going to be confronted. The answer seems fairly simple. Don't use a looky-likey, and don't hide what you're doing in places where e-cigs have not been specifically barred. Agreed. And Mr Cropper, what on earth do you think you are doing!? Beggars belief. I'm almost sure vaping now will be banned on coaches and the like and after this little (huge) debacle, who can blame them? J Vine was talking about this today btw and couldn't believe he had never covered e-cigs before, said he wanted to do something soon. So if you want to get on the Vine show as an expert, better contact them now.

Womble, I had read it up until early this afternoon and it had already gone completely bonkers by then. TW walk in shops are vey close to me, in fact yesterday I noticed a new vaping shop 5 minutes from me in my nearest town, it has TW logos all over it so it must be one of their resellers. I had thought it may be useful for emergency supplies, no desire to buy anything of value from TW as I heard bad reviews and that they were overpriced... Anyway after hearing the way that owner behaves and went off on his own customers, I won't be buying anything from them, ever!

It is questionable that we have to stealth vape, particularly as there are no rules against it.
I wrote to Boris Johnson today for clarity considering the Transport for London and London Authority sites carry no legislation for ECigs. Nearly every organisation has nothing in place to say no. We need to be more overt to avoid this kind of situation in the future and the thought of asking to do what is not banned nor illegal smacks badly with me.
HAd a row with a reformed ex smoker tonight who claimed we were still polluting and causing a health risk. I asked him did he eat peanuts and suggested the airborne allegins of those could kill painfully and instantly.
