im going away in a few days and only intend taking my TW. going back to the TW from the LTs it really doesnt seem to have the umppfh it had or seemed to have in the past. im using a tank and 510 boges. just wondering if anyone has any specific cleaning tips for the TW. ive striped and cleaned it but is there any particular weak points conductivity wise. i really cant be bothered explaining 2 x LTs and the 6+4 batteries that go with it, plus the TW and batts at the airport both here and in turkey. and i can be more discreet with the TW by completely palming it.

Personally, I think that you're just noticing the difference between the performance of a VV & non VV device Raggy, if everything in your Touchwood is functioning properly and you're using LR cartos.
The only way round it would be to install a Kick . . . but I think there's a small mod you have to do to the Touchwood for it to accept a Kick, but I could be wrong as I don't have one to speak from experience.

As perps says they are pretty bomb proof all that lovely brass means you should get a good connection. You could use a meter to check the resistance (if any is measurable) between your battery terminals ant the atomiser socket with the button pressed. Or put in a battery after taking its voltage reading then see if you get that voltage at the atomiser socket (no atty in of course).

to be honest im done with trying the in-betweenies, but they do look a neat and good idea. the next device is the provari. does anyone know if the floating pin (that touches the carto/atty) should slide very easily as mine is very tight, im wondering if the floating should mean what it says. after cleaning i have to pretty much force it up by using a Phillips in the hole of the spring, from the battery end.

as long as you have made sure all the metal brass parts are nicely polished then the only way to add extra umph would be to use lower resistance cartos

am i testing the TW correctly. i cant find a link for testing the device but assuming its the same setting as testing the batteries and touching the red to the threads and black too the pole i am getting a reading of 4.07 when the button is pressed. this is on a battery with 4 hours use. am i doing this right.
