Mr GJ..The saga continues!!

Those of you who know me will know the trials and tribulations we have been going through recently .. My Oh Mr GJ has been off work for approx' 6 weeks now after falling out with a lawnmower.. 4 very sore fingers and sliced tendon that needed a wee operation to put right... As he is self employed no work no wages....

Then an Ambulance ran into our Landy at 3.00am whilst we were in our beds sound asleep...

On the same day we discovered that our bank had in it's infinite wisdom closed an account ( with more than enough money in it..) on the 4th of May that we used to pay all our direct debits from..... >

Now to top it all He's just been told that due to the weather conditions over the summer so many contracts have been cancelled that he can't be kept in work.

It's getting harder and harder to see the bright side

Sorry for moping.. vape..vape..vape...awe well get a grip... smile and move on to the next set of troubles....

PS.... I'm still not going back to the stinky's

Poor Mr GJ, as I said in my PM send him my best wishes, stay positive and I'm sure something will come along soon

What is it with blooming banks at the moment? make sure you get compensation from them, I got £150 out of Santander a couple of months back because even though I had money in my account they wouldn't let me take any of it out, got lied to by about 6 operators and in the end took it up with upper management. Always worth getting a s high as you can and them asking (politley) for compensation, you usually get it

I spent a lot of time in the "Ferry" when I was younger, my Grandparents retired from Crombie Reservoir (now a park I think) to Forthill Drive, Broughty Ferry. Gran and I would walk to the beach often.. specially if it was raining

Sorry to hear you're having so many personal problems gj, it never rains, but it pours.
Can you apply for any benefits at all? You have enough to worry about without having no money as well. Hope your situation improves soon.
