From the explanation of the LR510 atties, I rekon I'll be joining the order if that's ok. Might even treat myself to some 510 whistle top carts if they stock them

I'll definitely buy some LR atties.... I 've not had much luck with cartomizers but they seem almost too good to miss. When I have tried them I have had virtually no vapour at all. I had 910s that I tried with a passthrough and my GGTS. What have I been doing wrong?? What's the difference between a "soft" tip and a "hard" one? I'm flapping slightly about the impending ban, although common sense tells me that the concept of e-cigs is too good to disappear. And of course, how could the ban ever be properly implemented? Still, I need to sort myself out with a little stash.. Lynda

Hi Perpy, Just had a look at the link and those are really good prices even taking shipping into account! I'd love to join in for some atties definitely, it's always worth stocking up with those. Will PM you when I get my thoughts organised. Got a question for anyone who knows. Those liquids look a good price too, and I want to make sure I've got a good stock in case of you-know-what. I really only like tobacco flavours, and I've got a special liking for James's higher-strength B&H, though OKsmokey's come a close second. Has anyone tried those Eastmall liquids, and can anyone recommend any tobacco flavours I might like?

I forgot to add in my reply - that's probably going to be a big outlay. Wouldn't you like some advance payment? We could always pay for what we've ordered and send you our postage and any additional costs when you know the totals.

me too, Perpy, thanks, it'll take me a few days to see what i want, cos im nights for 3 and im a zombie then (must be my age) whens your last date for orders? xx Selina is going to let me know when they get the HV in stock Lilac and I'd like to get an order in pretty smartish after that as they probably have a waiting list and will sell reasonably quickly. If I said Thursday evening cut off date - that'll will give me time to collate the order - hope that gives everyone enough time. Whilst I'm not in a flap over the forthcoming decision - I'm sure with our combined resources we'll find a way around whatever is decided, it makes sense to have a reasonable stock of gear in.

I think it will be easier for me to pay for everything then invoice everyone once I know what the UK postage will be otherwise I'll get in a muddle - I've got scales so can weigh everyone's packed order to be accurate - don't mind cheque/PP/postal order - which ever is best for everyone. I've also tried Eastmall's juices, whilst they aren't quite up to James's superlative standard, they're not bad at all for the money, Cigar & French Pipe I got on with pretty well.

I really think you'd be more inclined towards your SD as well if you used a LR atty - the difference is quite marked in performance. * Apologies if it looks like I'm spamming the board - but I haven't figured out how to do a multiquote/reply. :-[ *

hi perpe, ref multi quote. ive only just sussed it, and still not sure im right. have the forum open on 2 tabs. quote the first post you wish to quote. go to the second tab and copy the post you wish to use as the second post you want to multi quote. go back to your post click the button in the ADD TAGS section labelled when you hover the mouse over it insert quote. then paste what you have copied in the middle of this [ quote] paste [/quote ]. move to the next line and repeat as you need to. there is probably an easier way, but heh it works for me let me know how you get on and i will try to explain more when i know what bit im not explaining right. raggy

I fear that we need to be self-controlled re ordering liquids, partly because of the bulk being a Customs magnet. Chrissie will correct me or add advice, I hope scylla

A safe way of avoiding customs chargers is to infor the seller to post the items as a gift.

I 've not had much luck with cartomizers but they seem almost too good to miss. When I have tried them I have had virtually no vapour at all. I had 910s that I tried with a passthrough and my GGTS. What have I been doing wrong?? Often you need an adapter for a cartomiser to work - it'll depend on what battery you're combining it with. (I had to retype HARD and SOFT cos it had & quots in there instead of inverted commas.) I don't know what the difference is. I have observed that some of my cartos have, at the mouth end, a white flat cap with hole in the middle, made of hard thin plastic, and there's another softer, semi-opaque ring inside (my 808/901 cartos are like that); others have a softer, all-in-one white mouth-end cap, which can easily be pushed inside the atty if yer not careful (James's 510 cartos are like that). Whether those two types are hard and soft tips, I do not know. scylla

Chrissie will correct me or add advice, I hope scylla I feel experienced enough to answer this I order 2 or 3 orders a week from china and sofar touch wood mr customs have not bothered with my shipments I do hope i am not tempting fate but the secret is smaller orders i will place 3order between £150 - £250 rather that one Larger order most of the time the juices & equipment are referred to as some sort of Air Purification liquid Or Chargers or Vaporising equipment or aromatherapy the orders are always held for charging at customs but i never pay anything So the bottom line is as clint would say "do you feel lucky" James

I've also tried Eastmall's juices, whilst they aren't quite up to James's superlative standard, they're not bad Thanks Perpy. I've tried 3 of James's tobacco flavours now, Benson Fences, LnB, Golden Virgin, and I love them all. I did a very scientific experiment this morning filled some carts with those and with some others, and James's definitely have the added oomph. I'm sure I could have guessed them blindfolded, like the old 'can't believe it's not butter' adverts. So where juices are concerned I've decided to stick with James's oomph. I'll definitely go for some hardware though.

Thanks for the quote info Raggy - makes perfect sense, I've heard back from Selina and they're deffo whistle tips. www.eastmall.net//Products/ShowProduct.aspx?pid=100000482I think you're wise Inn, James's juice is absolutely the better. Also thank you James for the customs import duty advice - I've also found it made a difference what carriers overseas suppliers used when I was buying alot on Ebay/off Ebay - DHL always charged no matter what was put on the import label. What I'll do - hope it's alright with everyone - is to divide EM's shipping evenly between the number of us that place an order, I believe it's $17 irrespective of the quantity ordered, is that ok? This is all rather exciting. I should also add, that I'll order 'spares' ( the penalty of being a retailer all my life - I don't do anything in singles! ) so if anyone misses the order or wishes they had bought more atties/tips - I should have a few extras in hand.
