Has anyone had any experience of changing the connector on the SD mk2?
I'd like to change mine from the 901 to an eGo style connection.

I don't want to risk damaging the screwdriver though. I did read somewhere that someone had done this with a standard 510 connector. The thing I hate about using the ego adapter is that it keeps getting stuck inside the atomizer when I take it off.

What you need Steve is a pair of flat nosed jewellery pliers, very cheap from flea bay and an elastic band

I did see some posts on UKV.com by one of the modmakers how to put a 510 connector in, but now thats gone! ~ perhaps ask the moderators to find the post, or make a request on UKV.org I also PM'd Gary Dibbley and suggested it as an idea for his show Tin the Tip

Trog would do it for you I would think Steve . . . there were a few posts on the old UKV about doing just that, would the information be cached anywhere?

On the other hand Steve if you use the approach karma suggests, you avoid the sticking eGo connector problem. It looks quite good as well Attachments:

Found a nice solution to this. I bought a 901 to ego adapter from Liberty Flights and it works a treat. As there is no external thread on the 901 end, you can get a good grip on it if it gets stuck. Thanks for all the replies.

Good find, thanks. It does not sound too hard. This 901 to ego adapter seems to do the job quite well at the moment, so I think I'll save the info to file for later.
