ROFL Kenny Not sure about the green colour at the moment, can change it if folks would prefer a different colour But yes, our lovely Perpy has been promoted Lilac, neither of the buttons on my GG Grant or GGTS wiggle when I press them.

i'll be more specific, the part of the button thats screwed into the GG body doesn't wiggle when touched, but the top part that you press, does? That does read very funnily, Kenny

This is all very strange....i'm convinced there's a wee mischievious spook here playing tricks on me Okay, my GGTB isn't performing very well.....ok? I gave it a good clean today, altho i also did so maybe a week ago, so i didn't really think that would help... when i'm using either my GGTB or Mako, i transfer the atty back and forth, mainly cos i keep the spares upstairs and am too lazy to go get another one, lol thats why i didn't suspect it was the atty that was on the way out, as i've more or less ignored the GGTB for the last couple of days, just used the Mako, which was vaping beautifully... anyway, after it's clean, i put it back together again, popped in a batt, put my faithful atty back in place....and.....zilch.....nada....no hiss, no vapour, nothing.... much experimenting later, i gave up and screwed the atty onto my Mako....it was fine, so i made a coffee and sat down for a vape and a fume at things that dont work, when the Mako suddenly stopped working after about 20 mins or so...i fiddled about, changed the batt, but it was deader than a dodo, so i went and got a new atty, and was back in business..... i decided to try the new one on the GGTB....and it's lovely......loads of vapour, hit..... now, how can that be ??? apart from the first couple of days after i got it, the GGTB has never been as good as this.......but that was nearly 3 weeks ago......how can an atty perform well on one device and limp along on another? I'm just glad i know what was wrong now, but i don't understand it at all

Ummmm, I don't really know is the short answer Lilac. But, the Mako works on a 18650 battery doesn't it? So although in theory you were vaping at 3.7v on both devices it's possible the Mako had a bit more voltage with a larger batt to make an atty on it's last legs still fire up. That's the best I can come up with!

No Perp, it only takes 1 14500 or 2 of the CR2's for high voltage which i've never tried, i only use the 14500's....
these atties are finicky beasts indeed

Well that's that theory blown out the water Lilac. Main thing is that all is now well . . . . weird though!

You're maybe still right tho Perpy, it is a powerful mod, if very restrictive in the batts it takes, and the button does tend to stick sometimes, but a bit more work on it and it'd be a lot more popular, i bet....but there's a V2 button coming out soon, so maybe that'll address the 'stickiness' issues.

Thank you for that Imeo, will drop Cam a mail - very generous of you to make the offer I think. I love my GGTB, for someone not very technical it suits me a treat, I know it's been suggested on the GG Forum, but any plans in the pipeline to make a big sister version that takes 18650 batteries? perp, we have GGTS for 18650 and it does all we want. Agree buddy?

Ello....I'm just using a regular 901 attie on it, Perpy, i don't tend to use the LR atties all the time, as altho i like the throat hit, i don't really like the heat of the vapour, and the 'consistency' of the vapour changes too, so i keep them mostly for when im working and can't vape as often...lol Chrissie......i've always been really impressed with the Mako, even Bucko commented when he had his Mako, that a LR attie on it would be too much...cos the hit with it really is brilliant...but it is restricted by the fact that it'll only take a 14500 batt or 2 CR2's, so that's why i wanted a GGTB, but it just doesn't seem to have the same 'kick' to it, thats even with the 17670 battery, and im not using an adapter Perps... this is when i wish we lived closer together, cos it'd be so much esier to evaluate mods if we could try each others... I understand the mah part, but the higher the battery number, the more 'oooomph' it should supply, is that correct? i wasn't sure about that part...lol Lilac, GGTB has no diference than mako. As you know the first mod that was wireless was GGGrant. After this, some other mods like Mako based at the same filosofy were made. That means that GGTB and Mako have the same performance. If you want to check this, use the same battery and the same 901 atomizer on both of them. If anyone said that LR atomizer is too much for Mako then he is not a serious person and better dont take his advices in serious

I think i knew that about the number Chrissie, lol, but i forgot in my frustration.... one thing i have noticed with the GGTB is that if i press the button with 2 fingers, one on top of the other...its better, but with just the one, it's so-so....the button itself has darkened, oxidation, i presume, i'll give it a good clean tomorrow, as im sure it was better when i first got it off to watch Junglie clean the base of the button and the axis on the bottom cap that button touch Lilac

Imeo, can you help Lilac with her "wiggly" button problem? I think it just needs adjusting but not sure how

Hmmmm...not sure, Perpy, it's hard to understand Imeo's terminology at times...eg, what is the Axis on the bottom cap? Tell me, Perpy, when your button is in the open position, and you touch a finger to it, does it wiggle? cos mine does...just wondered, as Bugg said this on that thread.... axis is the rounded metal part that is attached in a small plastic on the cap with the 3 holes. Clean it with shine cream. Do the same at the base of the button
