Try using an LR Lilac, that's all I use other than regs on the GD PT - there would be a huge improvement in the GGTB performance. * Got to go watch I'm a Celeb - Gillian McKeith is doing my head in already *

I think i knew that about the number Chrissie, lol, but i forgot in my frustration.... one thing i have noticed with the GGTB is that if i press the button with 2 fingers, one on top of the other...its better, but with just the one, it's so-so....the button itself has darkened, oxidation, i presume, i'll give it a good clean tomorrow, as im sure it was better when i first got it off to watch Junglie

Ah, I wonder if the button just needs adjusting a tad?

I bet Imeo would do it for you but that would be a nuisance (sending it away, I mean). My GG Nano went totally oxidised in my hands (and made them smell metallic, nasty) - I think it's the type of aluminium Imeo uses, because my Screwdriver is aluminium but doesn't have the same effect. Someone suggested I paint it with nail varnish but I don't like the idea. Can there be different types of aluminium? Surely not ??? You girls are making me think I should have a look at ITV Player, dip into that dreadful programme BTW, we must be more careful - the use of technical jargon such as "oomph" might bewilder our newbies scylla

Mine is nickel plated bronze, think Perpy's is aluminium Scylla... yes, i've been experimenting and it makes quite a difference if i use 2 fingers on the button and apply a fair bit of pressure.... i'll maybe email Imeo and see what he suggests, cos it'd be a shame if it ended up in a drawer beside my Screwdriver... If Tim eventually gets the Don into production..lol, i'll have the option of using longer lasting batts, and i think i'll just have to buy the tube, as it's compatible with the attie connection and bottom switch... As an aside, the 2 guys at Gordi's work, Stuart & Mark, both love their Riva's, one had no cigs and the other had only 2 or 3, the day they started using them

Having to use 2 fingers and firm pressure on the button does not make for a relaxing vape scylla x

Silly question here Lilac . . . . . you have got the locking button unlocked all the way? Other than that I can only think as Chris says, that the spring might need some adjustment so it lines up with the contacts better.
Yes. mine is aluminium - don't know that I'd have been able to buy one otherwise, as nickel brings me out in blisters.

Yes it's fully open, Perpy lol
I've got the new IMR 14500's on charge, they are shorter than the Trustfire 14500's, so would have solved the top not closing on the GGTB problem.

Lilac, it might be best if you start a thread on the GG sub-forum in ECF, asking for help with your button

Hmmmm...not sure, Perpy, it's hard to understand Imeo's terminology at times...eg, what is the Axis on the bottom cap?
Tell me, Perpy, when your button is in the open position, and you touch a finger to it, does it wiggle? cos mine does...just wondered, as Bugg said this on that thread....

Mine wiggles also Lilac, perhaps the button magnets might solve the problem . . . . it's times like this I wish I had a modicum of technical know how as I don't understand most of the terminology that is used by anybody!
Plug in and go is the only thing I'm au fait with!

Lilac to Perpy: Tell me, Perpy, when your button is in the open position, and you touch a finger to it, does it wiggle? cos mine does... Enough of that Now I notice that the colours on the site are changing so Chrissie must be up to something A very sexy colour of green has been added to the Global Moderators and I see also that my darling Perpy has been promoted. Congratulations.
