Goodness knows what batts I've ordered from DX then but it was the ones recommended on the GG site.

My false battery deffo sticks up beyond the depth of the top screw threading as well.

The 14500 protected batteries are a tad longer than the unprotected due to the built in circuit at the bottom of the battery. Does the smaller top section of the telescopic thingie completely unscrew & can you just use the other section without it?

It does Chris, but then you wouldn't get the 'connection' and it would be too short for the 14500.

Imeo replied to my thread on ECF, he says to cut a thread off spring to make it fit, he offered to send me a new spring free of charge too, which i've taken him up on, in case i bugger it up, lol

Take him up on the offer Lilac. I know Imeo doesn't always come across well but I do believe he wants anyone that buys any GG to be happy with it.

i can also use my screwdriver batts in it...this is great!!!

i thought it might be too big for sticking in my jeans pocket, but nope, it fits fine, happy days

Lilac, I've been a member of ECF for almost 2 years so if you need any help finding your way round, just shout. Yep i know it's a massive forum with so many sub-forums, but at least it works & is well moderated, unlike the new ebay forums.

So hope you get on with your GG IMHO they are so well made, safe & virtually indestructible.

I should have said GG Forum, where I saw these DX batteries recommended, tis the excitement of so much ecig stuff all in one place that's got me all of a do.

Pleased to hear Imeo is sorting out a new spring out for you - it might be easy for the techie bods to do modifications, but I certainly wouldn't attempt it either!

Perpy, have you checked which 17670 you ordered?

As someone just said on ECF that the Grey protected Ultrafire 17670 doesn't fit, it's slightly too wide for the tube

Edit....as someone else just said they fit in their GGTB...just....

Imeo did mention at some point about making them 1mm wider, not sure if he meant the 2nd release(which i have) or the 3rd coming up...
