There is a handy page on the wires.co.uk site which has everything you need on it: wires.co.uk/acatalog/E-CIG_IATTY_ATOMIZER_WIRE.htmlPersonally I got 10m of the 0.16 nickel chrome and 10m of the 0.2 nickel (this is the no resistance stuff). that should last me quite a while lol You will see that it tells you the resistance in ohms per metre of each of the nickel chrome wires, so that for instance, the stuff I have is 53.7 ohms per metre, so if I want a 2 ohm coil I need (2/53.7) X 1000 = 37mm. If I am joining this to no resistance wire I add about 10mm or so to allow for the joins.

This vid also helped me out understanding what I'm up to: DO NOT TRAP THAT NEGATIVE WIRE IN THE LOCKING RING!!! One side of the ceramic housing is metal to allow for the wire to just sit behind the wick and make contact, trapping the wire in the locking ring will cause leaks as it causes a gap for the juice to flow inside That locking ring needs to seal against the base.

The negative being the last wire where he suggests wrapping it round the base of the rebuildable, you are saying cut it to the size of the channel and leave behind the wick?

That's exactly what I'm saying mate, or you can bend it into a V inside the channel to ensure a contact, Trapping the wire in the ring caused many problems for people. On the original odysseus that had the ceramic channel either side I overcome the problem by by making a Z shape at the end of the negative wire and created a sort of spring thet forced against the side to make contact Thats why the new design has metal down one side

Almost 7 wraps around a 3mm wick for 1.7 ohm..What resistance wire is that?
Must be 0.25 mm Kanthal -D or 0.212 nichrome..
Nice vid Blakey..Thanks..

You boys are scaring me with all this technical talk....hopefully I can enjoy her a bit before I have to worry about a lot of this I was in exactly the same position as you a couple of days ago, now I have studied the vids it really is very easy, the vids seem so much longer because every element is described and talked about, I reckon once I've done a few I will be whizzing through them in a couple of minutes. Suppose the other thing is when you are making the one you could make a handful so they are in your box ready for next time, then it's just a 30 second job.
