Oh...I ordered my Penelope today and was working under the impression that I could just coil with the same wire that I currently (see what I did there eh? eh?) use on my Bulli and RDA. I take it that's a no-no!

You can use your bulli wire no problem but you NEED some no resistance wire to complete the circuit

Dee also posted a set of photographs on this thread for joining the non res wire to res wire for the Iatty . . . exactly the same method is used for the Odysseus and Penelope . . .

Had to wait until after midnight for wages and they have dropped the price to £70.99 surprised these were still on sale and they had to drop the price.
Anyway that's £75 with recorded delivery, very very happy, I totally shouldn't have spent it, but sod it

I'm sure I'm gonna freak out when she comes trying to put her together, but that video you posted was really helpful, I'm going to study that.
It's the coil I'm worried about, the other parts should be fairly easy

That's exactly what I'm saying mate, or you can bend it into a V inside the channel to ensure a contact, Trapping the wire in the ring caused many problems for people.
On the original odysseus that had the ceramic channel either side I overcome the problem by by making a Z shape at the end of the negative wire and created a sort of spring thet forced against the side to make contact
Thats why the new design has metal down one side

And also, if you hav'nt got the small o ring off the oddy that goes on the bottom, put some Vaseline on it when you build it up, otherwise it's a right pain to get apart.
