Gaz Not many people vape at 6v....i personally vape 4.5-4.7v 20mg juice 70/30 pg/vg although i have the device to go higher as you state it just kills the flavour, most people find anything from 4.2v -5v suits best

its not anything to do with the mix of the juice ...its to do with the over all power, wattage juice will taste burnt at say anything over 12 watts (guesstamate) watts = voltage2 / ohms
therefore to vape at 6volts you will need to use a 3ohm atty/carto
................................................................................
if you are using 2.5ohm carto
volts2 /ohms = watts 36 / 2.5 = 14.4watts (which will more than likely burn the juice)

6 volt should be ok with 2 ohm dual coils if the mod and battery can supply the current..

Crickey..6v is a voltage only for the very daring vaper at lol.
I generally vape 4.7v, maybe 4.8v at times. I find that coupled with a standard boge does the job.

6 volt vaping was all the rage when I first started vaping, using stacked batteries on mods that could handle that of course.
High Voltage/Resistance atomisers were required, carto's weren't really about then . . . then Variable Voltage, better Low Resistance stuff came onto the market and 6v vaping became a bit redundant.
As Gordy says, at least 3ohms to avoid a burnt juice or as Macca advises 2ohm DC's . . . they give quite an acceptable vape at 6volts.
