In other news, the Proteus is now supposed to be shipping in September and The GGTS's are arriving on Monday, with some more of them for sale on Tuesday or Wednesday.

My replacements havent arrived yet........ and just waiting for the plastic spacers to come with the other bits so I can send the things back to Jason

Penelope (bert) looks so comfortable in his little bubble wrap package that I haven't the heart to disturb him yet......

An interesting update from Imeo today. He is telling his suppliers to start pre-order lists any day now, starting with the next lot of GGTS's which will be ready in about two months. Next he is going to do a pre-order for the Penelope amongst other things. The idea seems to be that the list will be open for a few days and he will make as many as are ordered.

Interesting indeed Dave . . . and a complete departure from how Imeo has in the past done things, but he has a real winner here so it makes sense to keep the production line rolling whilst there's the demand I'd have thought?

Yep, I read that on the ecf gg forum, Imeo says he will work to pr-orders so that he can make sure he supplies enough equipment because too many people are being left out.
I'm sure plenty on here will forewarn of any such lists as they become available
