My clear tank arrived today. I can now see how much liquid I have and also how open the juice control is.

Not as nice to look at without the stainless tube, but I like seeing what's going on now.

Just a fraction thicker.

There were two in the set, the other one has clouded tank.

One thing I've noticed right away is that I was having the juice control open way too much before.

I suppose really that I cut my teeth with the ody, it's exactly the same set up and I saw what was going on inside with its clear tanks so I knew what to expect with penelope, I much prefer the stainless tanks on the penelope and I find it very easy to tell when the juice is getting low by the taste but that all comes with experience
You could use them as training tanks and pass them on when you're trained steve
I can't deny the quality of these clear tanks though

Yes I saw that Perpy - he says it may be a problem with the second batch he did. I've been watching mine like a hawk for air bubbles building up and I think it is OK. The inner diameter has to be 14.5mm otherwise bubbles build up and the juice can't get through.

I can see me bubbles floating up the side to the top. Seems to be working ok.

Worth keeping an eye on maybe Steve . . . Kir's replacing them FOC I believe.

Mine came in on batch 1, after reading this I put a tank on one of my penelope's and filled it. No issues what so ever. Air bubbles rising from channels as they should and none becoming trapped. Air is supposed to enter the chamber as the juice is displaced and it should rise to the top of the tank. I would think this problem would be more apparent with VG heavy juices as the bubble would have more difficulty moving through the thicker liquid so would become trapped more easily.

I was just going to say that maybe mine has now hit a problem and then I realised the tank was completely empty, so I guess not
The only problem I have is that I still get a little bit of juice coming through the centre onto the battery connection. It is only the odd tiny drop but annoying nevertheless.
