@ Raggy Your comments to me do seem like a 'Dig' On this occasion the customer did not ask for a refund, nor would one be forthcoming until the unit had been looked at to determine the problem. And incase you had not read earlier, even if i wanted to replace the item, which again would not happen until it had been looked at by provape I HAD NO STOCK avalible to do this. Lets say the customer had dropped the unit down a flight of stairs or somthing, do you really think i should refund someone for misuse/neglect? come on m8 get real. I would obviously want the unit checked before any such refund or the unit replaced, and i or provape have not checked the unit to date therefore no refund or replacement has been made. Now as ive already stated before, If it is a Manufacturing fault, and provape deem it best the unit is replaced rather than repaired, i can then replace the item from stock, IF stock is avalible. Again if the customer wishes to contact me they are free to do so regarding this issue. Vapist yes vapist it is a dig, i said it was a dig but not at you alone many online traders and i dont mean ecig suppliers as in the main there brilliant. as for your comments about dropping down the stairs "yes" people do try it on but so do sellers and plenty of them. how does sandra know it was not dropped down your stairs, the principle of the argument can work both ways, unfortunately for you your the seller and you have to bite the bullet whether you feel your being conned or not. but you boldly state no refund would have been forthcoming if sandra had asked. we are going round in circles here really, i have an opinion based on law and what i believe a seller should do in a competitive market if he wants too remain a highly recommended seller, you of course have and are entitled to yours which is fine but i honestly believe most of what i say to be factual regarding trading laws and it is how i act in my line of work which is the customer is always right, we know there not but thats is imo the first rule of trading with the public. i am sorry if ive have offended you which i assume i have but the main thing im p***ed about is i now wont be getting a provari if any of the sellers use the same T&Cs as you do. gawd i wish i stayed on holiday raggy.................

Vapist, you seem to be completely ignorant of the laws which you are subject to in this matter. That is inexcusable. You have chosen to set yourself up as a business - you need to make sure you are aware of the obligations that come with that.
Your customers have statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act. They are also covered by the Distance Selling Regulations. Trying to hide behind a manufacturers warranty doesn't work.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, customers have a right to return the item for a refund within 7 days of delivery - EVEN IF THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT.
Under the Sale of Goods Act customers have further statutory rights which obligate you to provide a refund (or replacement at the customers discretion) if the item is damaged, of poor quality or not fit for purpose. If any fault occurs within 6 months of delivery, it is YOUR responsibility regardless of any warranty provided by the manufacturer.
If you are not able to meet these legal obligations to your customers then you should not have set yourself up as a vendor.

Vapist did send me a pm, I rang him and we have thankfully come to a satisfactory solution. I cross fingers now that Provape will have a quick turn around on my Mini Provari.

@ vapist............ ref your post @ Raggy Your comments to me do seem like a 'Dig' i would just like to apologise for what seemed and likely was a direct dig at yourself. to some degree i stand by most of my points but i really should probably not have been "flaming" the issue and generally baiting yourself. as said i dont agree with the T+Cs but i dont have too buy if i dont wish too accept them. id had a bit of a crappy day etc etc. i expect your bound to provape by certain conditions which whether i agree with them or not is irrelevant to what would appear to be "flaming". the matter appears to have been dealt with and likely would have regardless of my two bobs worth. hopefully you accept this apology.

When the Provari is supplied does it inform you to use or not used certain battery makes? this is with reference to one Provari that was sent back and user was using wrong ?(Brand)? battery?
I am saving for a Provari, but this has put me off a bit, expensive customer service when its not your fault. If this is so very rare in a Provari having issues, why can't the vendor just take the hit and build up respect for his company?

Sandra did you get your Provari back? Ello Oneday, what a journey it has been, as you are aware, Vapist and myself agreed he would pay all costs to me, the Provari was obviously being tracked, every day I would check it, it got to New York within two days, it stayed there for what seemed an age, then, the tracking said recieved in Ireland I rang Royal mail to find out why, they said customs NY had refused it and it could be there for 30 days, I emailed Vapist and Provape, so that both would be aware of the situation, Vapist said he would send me a new Provari out, such a relief, Provape emailed me to say it had just arrived there, they would see to it that day/night and send it straight back to UK, next day I had my new one from Vapist anyway, Provape said they would try to ensure the fixed one would go straight to Vapist but if their service department didn't recieve their notification in time would I send it to Vapist if it should come to me, which I obviously would, it's not come here, so unless it is still in transit, Vapist has it. Hopefully, crosssing everything on my body that can be crossed, end of horror story

Reasonable buyer and responsible seller. Although it is such a scary story for people like me who would like to invest in a high price Provari in the UK, it turns out happy ending. By the way, have anyone here bought a Provari directly from the USA?

From what I have heard they have a really good after sales service as well.
