Mart, the North Yorkshire moors is my old stamping ground - literally. I attempted the Lyke Wake Walk on 3 occasions & managed to complete it on the 3rd one

So you'll know exactly where I'm on about if I say as I came past Fylingdales I thought "detour time" and hooked a left and dropped down to Goathland and then bobbed down to Beck Hole for a quick bevvy and a vape.
