18650 battery with Lavatube

I feel like a right noob! I bought a couple of 18650 batteries (from Vape Escape www.vapeescape.co.uk/18650-protected-li-ion-batteries-2600mah~349) and they are too big for my lavatube
I did a search on the forum and the results showed links to UKV forums which are now shut so was wondering if anyone could help?

Not sure if they have the nipples on the end but my lava tube i put flat ended batteries

But if the flat ones need charging i just use the nipple ones and use a rubber washer to cover the thread

You don't need protected batteries in the LT as it has it's own protection. You'll just have to buy another mod now to use the batteries you bought

They would work well in the argento from Britvapes

Most protected 18650 batteries will not fit the LT, nipple or no nipple..

Protected 18650's are in reality closer to 19 mm dia x 67mm length..

IMR's are best anyway for e-cig use..
