Not sure if they have the nipples on the end but my lava tube i put flat ended batteries
But if the flat ones need charging i just use the nipple ones and use a rubber washer to cover the thread

Most protected 18650 batteries will not fit the LT, nipple or no nipple..
Protected 18650's are in reality closer to 19 mm dia x 67mm length..
IMR's are best anyway for e-cig use..
