Hi everyone, been looking at the forum for a while thought I'd better introduce myself. Have smoked a pipe & cigars for many years but a couple of months ago a friend sent me a link for the tornado tank which I bought & have been very pleased with, so much that I have not touched my pipe or cigars since. My taste buds have returned & I feel great. I have just ordered a EGO-V6 from Britvape but it doesn't come with batteries or charger & I'm not sure what kind of batteries I need any help would be much appreciated. Thanks for listening & keep up the good work, this is a great forum with lots of information & nice people.
Tom.

Hi Tom and #welcome2# from me too Well done on giving up tobacco I'm not at all familiar with the mod that you've ordered, but from googling a bit it looks like you need to use 2 batteries 'stacked'! Usually it's not recommended to stack batteries There are safer ways of increasing the voltage of your vape using variable voltage mods e'g. the Lava Tube. Although many of us manage to get a decent vape out of a normal mechanical mod using low resistance cartomisers

Hello & welcome to the forum Tom. I think the V6 takes 2 x 16340's but I'll just double check.

Hello & welcome Tom Nothing to add to Perpy's excellent info re the V6 batteries, but hope you know that your Tornado tank is a rebranded ego & you can use any 510 cartomisers/clearomisers with it

Hi Tom and to AAEC The Ego V6 takes 2 16430's a said above, just make sure you use good quality (AW's are pretty good) and don't mix with other types, buy a pair and use together. You WILL need a couple of spacers for the Xtar charger, it comes with 2 but you'll need 2 more if you want to charge more than one battery at a time. Everything you will need to know is here in this review:-

Thanks every one for your warm welcome, & thanks for the links. Yes I have been using the rainbow clearomisers which I like very much but I have a lot to learn. There are so many options available now, I can't keep up & it can get very confusing. ???

It can get very confusing indeed Tom - even I get confused these days (& not just about e-cigs) So please don't hesitate asking anything at all
