re: cartomizers the first silly question!

Hi, I know this sounds daft but do different cartomizers make a difference in vaping? At the moment I use Jacvapours ones - get them full then retop with my own liquid - but I find my retops dont last very long at all - was wondering if I got a different make my e-juice my last longer? Also what are any other benefits / pitfalls.

Lastly my thread is 808 - does anyone have any recommendations of different ones?

The 510 connection is the now standard connection for many batteries and accessories.

I use an eGo-T 900mAh battery with either 510 Cartomizers or Clearomizers.

You would be much better, and would save in the long term getting an eGo battery and any cartomiser / clearomiser to suit.

Do read these forums though, and do ask questions.........I'd probably get shouted at for this, but if you enjoy Vaping and want to 'get into it think about one of the eGo starter kits available from many suppliers. eGo is better than Riva, a few pounds more, but then saying that, there are many happy Riva users (Riva=brand name).

To be honest Sarah, get a cartomiser that is simpler to fill than what you currently have, then filling your own will be a doddle and considerably cheaper.

Sarah, as Tim says, you would do so much better by getting an ego or Riva 510 threaded kit. There are so few options for trying anything different on the Jacvapour's 808's, apart from using adapters.

Can't think of anywhere, at the moment. that sells prefilled 808 cartomisers.

Yes VapeEscape - also have Pre-filled 510 Cartomisers (again will only fit a 510 connection). However, you will find that it is really easy peasy to fill Cartomisers once you've done about 3

Safer cigs and ivapour both do pre-filled 808 cartos..

In the long run it's better to get a 510 battery..More choice of shops, flavours and better price. I would just buy a 808-510 adaptor and use 510 cartos..

Thanks for the replies :-) I don't find it difficult to refill my cartomisers at all my problem with it is refilled ones never last nearly as long as already filled ones - I can get through 3-4 refilled ones a day where as it takes me 2-3days to get through a prefilled one! I'd be happy to get a new kit if it meant more option and cheaper in the long run, but my problem is the best bit of this innokin is the fact it has a pcc so could I pick up a good 510 threaded starter kit with a pcc???

But do you really need a PCC? an 1100 mAh battery will last a day unless you really cane it and you could always carry a spare to be on the safe side. You only need to charge it via a USB port for a few hours each day.

My carts don't last long after the initial stint, so I just carry juice and keep topping it up throughout the day, I manage about a week per cart this way.
