Hi barbs, welcome to the forum from another newbie to this world of vaping.
I don't know your budget but these are great...http://www.provape.com/provari-variable-voltage-ecig-s/36.htm Very expensive but fantastic quality even although I'm having a little teething problem with mines at the mo'...lol...and the battery that goes in it should last you all day.

Hello & welcome Barbs The Riva is a good kit at a really good price. Re the ego c that your friend told you about, the ego is very similar to the Riva. However, the Ego C tanks are known to have problems with leaking & flavour.

Hi Barbs, I am new too and still very confused. I phoned Jason at www.vapeescape.co.uk he listened to my needs and how I needed it all to be as easy as possible and made recommendations to suit me.

Hi Barbs, After reading through this forum for 4 days solid I got my Riva yesterday morning and I like it, not had a real ciggy since. This is my 1st electronic, I found it takes a little bit of getting used to but worth it. You could get yourself a usb portable charger that takes 4 AA batteries, sold in lots of electronic stores.

Hi barbs - great choice of kit. I should think a large percentage of the posters on here are members of the Riva starter kit club A fully charged Riva should last you a good day before it needs re-charging so you will notice quite a difference!

Don't throw away the skycig, throwing anything away that still might be useful is enough to make me cry! I'm a tight northerner, we throw nowt away! Keep it as your emergency spare, you might be grateful for it one day.

Barbs, Royal Mail willing, you should get your Riva tomorrow. Don't hesitate asking any questions at all, no matter how daft they may seem
