I hope you have a great time at the festival, I bet you'll see a few people about with E-cigs, though most will be like your Skycig, so you can have a little snigger to yourself that you will not be running out of charge too quickly, unlike them!

Good tip above about the charger box that takes ordinary batteries, just make sure it has a USB socket on it and you'll be able to use the USB charger lead that you get with your Riva in it.

I have a rechargeable battery pack that I take with me when I'm going to be away from mains electricityand it has "saved my life" on more than one occasion!

Hi again .... my Riva 1100 Kit should be here tomorrow , yippee no more skycig ! Can anyone tell me what this tank thing is and can I and would it be beneficial to fit one (what one ? ) to my new kit ? Thanks again

I'd get your new kit and get up and running with that first Barbs, before buying anything else.

See what you think you'd like improved/different from that . . . it is so very easy to plunge in and buy everything going at first, as there's some great kit about now . . . but then only to find that what you've bought in the flush of excitement, doesn't really do what you'd like it to.

Thank you ! A guy I work with who has what he called a screwdiver ?? said " you need a tank with that " .... Didn't really have a clue what he meant , even though I have heard of them . I shall take your advice.

It's a ' Mod ' the Screwdriver Barbs, an electronic cigarette ( tube/battery holder ) that is powered by separate rechargeable batteries essentially.

They come in all shapes, sizes and prices . . . but do the same thing, in varying degrees of performance and efficiency.

You don't have to use a Tank with it, there are other options.

But I think you're wise to just hold fire for now and get up and running with your lovely new kit.

My Riva has arrived , and I love it ! Bit worried that I am puffing a bit too much on it though !! So glad I waited before diving in and buying a tank for it as advised by Perpetua , I certainly don't need one , the clearomizer (thats what the very helpful man at Vapeescape called it ) is perfect for me.

I may be limited on flavours as I have only found 2 so far that I can physically vape without a burning mouth. But I have found that I am actually enjoying it and the sweet flavour and don't want to put the damn thing down.
